Filtration systems in buildings
Good morning, WA! (or afternoon/evening-depending on where you live)
In between doing WA training and household issues, I have also been staying updated with the news. As of this morning the governor of New York is having buildings (Malls) updated with air filtration systems. NASA is working on a filtration system that is able to filter out COVID particles. Eventually if we can't get control of the virus, updating places where people congregate with an air filtration systems, we can fight it (have it filtered and sucked up). We don't know how long this situation will last and being open to updating air systems in buildings could also lead to updating factories and warehouses where people work. Amazon warehouses have been hit and people have died because of contracting COVID and in turn people who "work" for those places. People order from our websites, from Amazon, and their environment is not healthy. I don't want to contribute to that. Having a healthy environment to work is of great importance. I think all buildings should be upgraded with some kind of air ventialation system (not only for COVID situation) but also in our air (outside)- filters for catching particles that cause air pollution. Sounds kind of "futuristic" for sure...

Until there is a vaccine, we as Americans can do our part (social distancing and wearing a mask). With the help of caring and intelligently run corporations (as Lisa mentioned above) we will beat this thing!!

These difficult times will no doubt produce research that will be an answer to other problems, and hopefully, result in some sobering contemplation concerning our human frailty.
For every cause, there must be an effect. I believe when things happen, like the pandemic, it is an opportunity to be more self-aware. We live in a time of great distraction, maybe the greatest. When "bad" things happen, it is also an opportunity to find out who are "Friends" are. This mornings readings- there were a group of expert fishermen in a boat at sea. A great storm came while they were sailing. Waves and wind were so rough- they were afraid that at any moment they would lose their lives. One of the men were asleep in the back of the boat. The others woke him up. Instead of being afraid, he stood up and said, "you of little faith, why are you afraid?" The man rebuked the wind and waves and the storm passed. Who is this man that even the wind and waves obey?
We get so distracted sometimes with what is going on around us and the world we live in, we forget Who is in the boat with us.
I believe when we go through "things" it is an opportunity to grow, mature, evolve.
