Getting Beyond Writer's Block.

Writer's Block...

I think we've all been there.

Somedays I just don't know what to write for a certain blog or social media website. I used to just throw up my hands and give up for the day.

Then I noticed something.

One day I sat down and attempted to work beyond my writer's block.

First I thought of a topic I wanted to cover.

Then a title.

Then I sat down at the keyboard and just started typing.

Finally my brain kicked in and a post appeared. Perhaps not the best post, but definitely something of a first draft quality. Something I could build upon to create something better in the future.

So now, instead of giving in to writer's block, I sit down with it and just try to write something. Anything. Once the brain finally engages, I am off.

Are you faced with writer's block? Try pushing through the block instead of giving in to it.

It may only be a post of 179 words, but, on an otherwise unproductive day...I'll Take It!

Until Later,

-Ralph

That's a really good advice Ralph, I'm probably one of the few struggling to keep up me blogging to be honest...But part of it all I think with me it's the grammar, I just think I have been away from books for too long but the more I spend time doing it I guess I will become better. Thanks

Many blessings

I like that Ralph "179 words, but, on an otherwise unproductive day...I'll Take It!"
I've recently been getting through it by, reading some articles on a subject that I want to write about. Grab a couple of paragraphs & paste them. Read them again, then start to rewrite them, my brain kicks in & I end up writng through & around them. I'm now off & away again.

Cheers, Duncan.
