Spending Time In Nature

Sometimes It Feels Like I'm Stuck Behind A Computer All Day.

And it's easy for me to get burned out and worn down just staring at the monitor screen for hours at a time trying to be creative. So now, with warmer weather coming into my part of the world, I am making a point of getting outside more often.

I find that being out in nature helps to refresh my mind and improve my attitude. It also helps me to energize myself and renew my creativity.

I have adopted a variety of activities that I am trying to do on a daily basis (weather permitting).

These Include:

*A Daily Walk

*Time Spent Playing (Working) In My New Slingshot Niche

*Daily Meditation In Nature

I also plan to include some time fishing in the river that runs through our back yard. People ask me how the fishing is, and I don't know what to say because I have seldom fished in the 25 years I have been here. That changes this season!

What do you do to recharge yourself when you get feeling drained? Let me know in the comments below. :-)

Until Later,

-Ralph

Anytime I get to spend in nature helps me realize how small I really am

Sounds wonderful to be able to sit by a stream and smell the wonders of the great outdoors. Thanks for the post.

I hear ya! I wish there was a way to be able to sit and stare into a computer screen, for the hours I need to be sitting and staring into a computer screen, without the accompanying discomforts!

Nothing works better to recharge my batteries than to get outside and do something - anything! This has been one l-o-n-g winter here with out first snow before Halloween and the most recent a couple of days ago.

However, as of today, I feel as if spring may actually happen and the prospect of getting outside again is beginning to appear as a small speck at the end of this long winter tunnel!

I know it's still too early to do any serious planting but having my flower beds to tend to is a wonderful reason to move away from in front of the computer monitor!

You are so fortunate to have a river running through your yard! I know people that would donate a kidney, maybe even sell their first born to have that!

I Hope you're having a nice weekend and if so, get out there and catch some fish!

I listen to my favorite type of music or read my Bible.
