So while looking at your site (which looks great by the way), I was thinking about your question. Having a domain name of your name is great if you're some sort of "celebrity" or if your career revolves around you as your brand.

Given you're starting out on the IM path, you have no idea where you'll end up. While your current site is about one particular niche, you will more than likely end up with several different sites in completely different niches as you find the ones that work for you in terms of getting traffic and ultimately money. So you can't really tie them together into your name.

You could just do it as a personal blog with no affiliation to your "money" sites. But for now, I'd recommend you just sit on it for a year or two until you get more experience under your belt and a real direction for you develops.

For example, over the next year or two you may find that you want to devote yourself completely to alternative "medicines". An "expert" and spokesperson for all of them. In that case, you could then make yourself into a brand with that site as your flagship site.
