Trashing Negativity
After a crummy review from the boss, a flat tire or shrinking your favorite jeans in the wash, negative thoughts are inevitable. Instead of stressing out, scribble each negative thought on a piece of paper, crumple and throw away.
According to researchers at The Ohio State University, this practice causes our brains to mentally discard bad thoughts and improves overall mood.
