In The Pursuit of Perfection in Website Construction.
In the pursuit of creating a website of mine today. I feel like I have been banging my head against a brick wall.
Every single thing I tried to do today was not simple. Things I have done easily before did not happen that way today. I was getting very frustrated with the computer gremlens that seemed to be causing this, unfortunately they had a mind of their own & wanted to play with me. What should have taken an hour or so took three times as long. I was just about to give up & stop wasting my precious time, when......
Suddenly it was as though they knew I was beaten, they had played enough of their games & decided to let me do what I had been trying to do for so many hours...
I'm glad I stuck to it, even though it put me back a few hours. I am very happy with want I ended up with as well. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier so I can get some content on the site.
Thanks for reading :)

When, for once, something may go smoothly...I think my family members heard that line too often....
I can relate to this about 10,000%. I was just working on a project this weekend that I totally thought I would knock out in a couple hours. Every time I ran it, it failed. Worse, normally I would get errors telling me where the problem was, so I could go find it. Instead WP was being a stubborn beast and kept just dying without a peep about the problem was. I was stuck trying things in the blind hoping one would finally pay off. Like you it finally did. Personally I think that's one of the great things about what I do, that feeling when everything you're trying to do finally comes together. Best of luck on your efforts tomorrow.
It certainly is a victory when it all works out isn't it Cory & looking back to a few hours ago I could have thrown the laptop out the window :) glad I didn't... Thanks for commenting

Great job hanging in there Linda,
