Returning from the ashes - this is scary
It's been a long time. It's been a very long time. Well it seems to have been a very long time! Six months with very little input and it feels Scary!
The decision to 'pick up the keyboard' and put fingers over the letters is creating a feeling of regret at the moment, however, as I move forward I'm sure this feeling will subside and a feeling of exhileration will take over. - It will won't it? I'll let you know as I go along.
REALLY
This lack of participation has been self created and self destruction. It's oh so easy to put other things and people in the way of actually being proactive, I've done it for a long time. And then suddenly it returns, the feeling of wanting to be proactive, the feeling of enjoyment for oneself instead of 'pretending' that others, or other things need my attention first.
This need to believe we are more important to others is not correct. We are more and must be more important to ourselves first.
We see and hear it so often, in books, online, on WA, how we must put ourselves and our businesses first.
HOW MANY TIMES?
So how many times will I do this? Good question. - Returning from the ashes always is. Knowing that there is something else waiting for ones attention is scary and knowing that success is just around the corner is scary, BUT this time I feel its closer than ever.
Yes, the feeling of success has returned and the feeling of this keyboard is an awesome feeling, one of it's just like old times, when the keyboard was more than a friend. I've missed it.
Walking the ashes is such achievement, but funnily one that gets forgotten. (until my friend reminds me again, so the achievement certificate is now once again in view, daily)
Onward and upward.
Every success to this community, - and I'm part of it.
Loving the feeling of enjoyment again.
Linda

hey hi LInda & welcome back to the awaiting awesome WA community's embrace!
As some have attributed to the ancient mythical Greek / Egyptian phoenix -- Rise from the ashes to re-discover renewal of strength, vim & full vigour, onward & upward to success!
Re-discover the amazing WA training, tools & resources!
All the best to big success ... ⭐️🎈⭐️
love it Keishalina. I have a great 'affiliation' with Greek mythology.
Well put!
Thank you, Linda
Hi Linda. Understand how you feel. I did that once, thankfully I got my act together and started back in again. Glad that you choose to start back up again. Looking forward to hearing more from you in the future.
Thanks for sharing.

Welcome back Linda - I was listening to a podcast the other day and it was actually talking about restarting or repicking something up ... It said the most important thing to do is to just make sure you do at least one little thing a day - even if it is the smallest little task - they all lead to the goal..
Wishing you good luck
Paul
I am in the same situation. I have been away for a while. Almost like I hit a slump that I couldn't seem to pull out of. I am glad to know I am not alone in this.
I feel I am ready to take charge again, maybe start again and anew. I may do this many times myself, but coming back means I have not given up.
Best of luck to you,
Cris
Thanks Cristy I totally hear you and understand. Taking charge. Wow that's powerful.
Best of luck to you also and hopefully see you on here more as well.
cheers, Linda
Welcome back Linda. You know this community will always be here to support you. I have felt so welcomed here at WA in my first month and met so many lovely people. I wish you lots of success for 2019 :)
Thank you MsMela. Yes this is a great community and when I was 'proactive' some months back I discovered just how.
wishing you the best for 2019 also. :)
Linda
Welcome back Linda! I completely understand...I've been gone for 4 years! Just busy with working and little League baseball games etc. I've really missed WA and am always thinking of ideas to start implementing (most of them I end of forgetting though ughh).
I wish you the best and tons of success!

Apparently I've been gone for so long I've forgotten how to leave a comment properly lol! (I reply to the wrong person!). Copied and pasted my comment to you below!

Hi Linda- My friend I am so happy to see you back in WA.
Yes, if we let others take us away, we often find it difficult to move on looking after our own needs and futures.
We are responsible for all our choices and this choice you have made to come back and keep building and learning is awesome.
Remember I said 2 years of solid work will take us to new levels online and offline. Well, I still believe this 100% my friend and it is so good to see you.
Your niche is unbelievable and the potential to help 1000's of people is right before you.
Go well and get back into the training and if you need me, I am here for you all the way as always :)
Wehoo!!!!! You got this girl!!!

Ok- trying to calm myself now :)
