What should I do with my website?

I said when I started my site that I was not going to give up. Now, I am not exactly giving up, but I am finding that in reality, I am not going to be able to devote the time needed to make the site successful. A realistic outlook is important.
I was really working hard on my site during the months of July and August. I am a teacher who has summers off, and I was also recovering from foot surgery, so I spent my days working on my site. Now, I am back at work and my nonprofit organization that I started about a year ago is growing and I am now working on paperwork to get 501c3 status. I had planned to do this over the summer, but I worked on my website instead.
My nonprofit organization is a Trap, Neuter, Return organization and kitten rescue group, and has grown from a beginning of 4 volunteers to 11. Working with animals and managing our organization is taking up so much time, I have not written even one post for my site during October.

My website is about cruelty-free beauty products, and it requires staying on top of current trends and new products. It's not that I don't enjoy writing about these things nor it is anything to do with not making any sales yet or giving up or any of that. I just know that I do not have the time to devote to it to get and keep the kind of traffic I need to be successful.
I only have a Facebook page for my nonprofit so I am planning to start a website for it here at Wealthy Affiliate. But the problem is, what should i do with my website on cruelty-free beauty?
Here are a few more details: My site is about 6 months old. Even when working hard on my site during the summer I never had much traffic. I still don't, but I haven't written a post in a month. I am an affiliate for a few programs, including Amazon, but have not made any sales. I have worked to make my site appealing to women, and my writing is of high quality. It's just unrealistic to think that I can maintain it and do everything else.
This isn't about time management. There are only so many hours in the day, and I am already sleep deprived. I just hate to shut it down completely, but I don't know what to do with it. If I just leave it up there, people who land on it will see that it isn't kept up to date and will not likely make a return visit.
I am open to your honest opinions.
