I just Created a Page About Wealthy Affiliate

My task in my Certification training that I need to complete is to write a post here at Wealthy Affiliate. So for this post, I will tell you about a page that I have just created and ask you a question about it as well.

I have been working on a page about Wealthy Affiliate for my site, and I just finished it today, for which I am glad. It is over 3000 words, and for now, it will be my only Wealthy Affiliate page on my site. The title of the page is "How to Start Your Own Online Business From Home." I plan to include affiliate links to Wealthy Affiliate, of course.

My site is a niche site, totally unrelated to business or making money online. I have decided to link to it from my "About Me" page, but I was wondering if I should make this page visible in my menu otherwise. It seems that it would stand out like a sore thumb in my menu at the top of my site. I was thinking of possibly referencing it in my sidebar somehow, but am not sure that would look right either.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how I can include this page so that it "blends in" as much as possible? All suggestions appreciated!

Good Morning Linda,

To tell you the truth I had not thought about a WA page on my websites yet. My 2 niches are not so much for me to make money as to spread some information. Of course, I would not mind making some money and perhaps a WA page would be good for that.
I would say to put that page at the end that is after About Me and the PP page. To do a nice banner on the side bar why not.
In the About Me page, I would then put a link to that other WA page together with a little explanation of why I make websites etc.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Hi Linda,
I think you are amazing being able to put 3000 words in a page to start and since you have done so much work and it has been part of your journey to create your own niche site I would give it a page of its own but after the "about me" and with a link in the "about me." That is if your about me is at the end of your menu. If its at the beginning I would make the WA page at the end but still have a link in about me.
I might try and do something similar. and I would put a link to that on every website I build.
Cheers
Judy

Yes, you are right. And I just thought about this. There may be visitors that don't look at my About Me page but would be interested in reading about how to start an online business if they saw it in the menu.

Find unique cue points in your content Linda and link it in!

Yes, I guess I should consider every opportunity to link to it!
