"LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET!"

The movie "Forrest Gump" is by far one of my favorite movies up until now. I am a fanatic for movies that carry special messages that ultimately thrive to encourage one to take a look at their circumstances and make significant changes. As I expand on the message that I received consistently by watching this movie numerous times and over time, I am impelled to write this blog mostly to self reflect on my goals and aspirations to achieve success in spite of circumstances.

Tom Hanks, best actor of this movie, inspired me to look at my own circumstances and stop making excuses for my situation. "Forrest Gump" the movie not only presented information by depicting historical time lines but it also coined quotes by verbalizing small but priceless sayings throughout the movie. One of them being, "LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATES AND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GONNA GET." For the sake of expanding on this quote, I'd like to take a moment to blog on this as it pertains to my life. The first thing being my recent life review evoked by sweet life itself. Every person who is alive usually go through these moments in time where they are forced to self evaluate where they stand in life. This occurs when one least expect it to at times or it happens when something major occurs. Sometimes your social life provoke this phenomenal occurrence. I was spiritually convinced to review my past, present, and future in a way that I hadn't before. When I was thirty three (33) and thought that I was living life to the fullest had planned to retire in the next ten years. I had held executive positions in companies any where from nurse executive to nurse liaison. I even became bold enough to start my own nursing facilities with a primary focus on retiring early in life. "Life is like a box of chocolates and you never know what you are gonna get!" I'm not retired and don't see it happening any time too soon. This life review sent me on my current quest and has landed me here at WA. Life has so many twists and turns that staying focused must remain one of the tools used in an effort to enhance the ability to obtain a certain level of success. I've now came up with a plan and a goal to get me through the next ten years. I'm eager to know what this piece of chocolate contains. Hopefully a big red cherry full of flavors inside.

Linda, life does have many twists and turns. I never thought my wife after 26 years would leave me. I am still the same lovable guy before she started making that 6 figured income. I was ready to retire and hopefully travel the world together. My favorite movie is the Ray Charles story, as he saw life from the perspective of a blind man. I'm writing a book motivated by my wife leaving me which the book will take me aound the world to help people that's my purpose. Oh, by the way your eyes are breathe-taking.

Thanks Ricardo for your reply. I truly understand the underlying pain that is deep within you regarding your recent depart from your ex-wife. This can be life changing leaving one to feel like they are truly at a cross road in their life. You are definitely doing the right thing if you are taking the opportunity to write about it in an effort to provoke healing and consultation to others. That in itself can and will assist you in your healing process regarding this life changing occurrence. I personally know the effects of divorce as I am two years in. I'm not sure of what life holds for me but I am being very patient.
Thanks about the compliment regarding my eyes. I hope they display a woman who is seeking answers to many questions regarding this place call life.

Lynn

Lynn, my wife wants me to pay for a divorce. If she wants is she will pay, we've been separated for about 2 years now. I'm trying to settle on the house that she left. I have relocated in Georgia. Are you familiar with spiritual intuition? Going deep down within yourself for answers you have questions for. I'm a life coach that speaks about life. My book will reval all of that and help others who have experienced hat kind of situation. Can we just talk?

Sure we can talk.

Lynn

Thanks for your reply..
Lynn

My pleasure.

Lynn, I will be 62 the 20th of this month. I know my book will do well, it's therapy for me and others that I share it with. You could probably write one yourself and find others who have had similar experiences. Universal law by way of Law of Attraction has brought me back to WA. When I look into your eyes I can almost tell your story, that's my spiritual intuition at work. Being separated has educated me a great deal, it's made me kind of psychic. I do need a nurse in my life, just to relieve some of the pain I've been experiencing. Someone to talk to, can that be you.

Ricardo... a nurse I am. Sure we can talk.

Lynn

It's a good quote, Linda. Thanks!
