Mis-adventures in Blogging
If you ever get tempted to do blogging/web content for others be very careful. If you're lucky and go through an official site it might work but never function outside the matrix on things like freelancer or guru as you're likely to get stung... literally. Worse case scenario is you do work for a week. They take your creativity and then disappear without trace... Bummer so be careful.
WA to the rescue hopefully. At least we're writing for ourselves and at present the freebies should benefit everyone else involved.

Yes, thought it was a good way to make some money... at least I wasn't out of pocket financially like some scams...If you ever do try this venture on guru or freelancer then be very careful and read all the t's&c's and follow all the instructions.
They are bona fide sites but can do little if you get sucked out of their framework. Best to see if you can get hourly pay and show the hours you've worked using their desk top aps.

I have to say that I am a freelance writer on Upwork, (used to be oDesk,) and I've never had a problem!
