What Motivates You to Become Successful With Wealthy Affiliates

Many years ago when I first became a nurse I was hired by an infusion company to do home visits. The job involved a lot of travel. I would start IV's in the home, do health assessments, give chemotherapy to cancer patients, and give other types on infusions to very ill patients. I enjoyed having this job because I was treating one patient at a time and this gave me the time to become more familiar with them and bring as much comfort to them as I could. I found this to be very rewarding. I started there part-time. As time went on I took on more cases and covered more territory.

One day I received a phone call from the office manager. She told me that the owner wanted to offer me a full time position with a company car. She went on to say that I would have to be interviewed by him personally. His office was on the top floor of the building. I had never been on the top floor. I went to the office on the day I was scheduled for my interview and I was escorted to the top floor and then to the owner's office. When his assistant opened the door I saw this man sitting in a wheelchair. He was a quadriplegic meaning he had no use of his legs or hands. The only thing he was capable of doing was talking and dialing the telephone with his nose. That was it. I was blown away. He had built the company from scratch. The company was in existence for over twenty years. When he started the company there were times he would need nursing assistants and nurses to cover shifts. When he called them to work they would tell him they couldn't do the shift because they had no babysitter. He would tell them to bring the baby to the office and he would do the babysitting. Then he would assign certain staff members to baby sit the children. He became very wealthy. His staff was very loyal to him because he cared and because he accomplished so much with a tremendous handicap. My interview went well and I got the company car as promised. I worked hard to make sure he was satisfied with my work ethic and my production. This was an experience I will never forget. It was humbling in the sense that it made me appreciate being healthy and independent, but also it made me learn to stop complaining about minor things and look for the lesson in bad circumstances.

I learned about Wealthy Affiliates from my brother. When he approached me about this company I was worn out from all the online opportunities I had tried and failed at. Some of those companies are no longer in existence because they were scams. Initially I said "no way." But he kept hounding me. This went on for about 6 to 7 months. One day we were having a conversation he caught me at a time when I was receptive to unfamiliar information. I told him I would look into it.

I decided to join Wealthy Affiliates after looking into the business and getting some basic questions answered. I upgraded to the premium package but I still didn't realize true potential magnitude of success I was getting myself into. Then one day I looked at my site health with regard to where I was at and the things I needed to improve on. One of the things mentioned that I was lagging in is interaction with other members. So I began interacting more and talking to people, following people, and reading posts. And that my friends is when the light switch turned on in my brain. I realized very quickly that there is a gold mine of information here that I have access to as a premium member. My whole mindset has changed. I am a hardworking guy and I have worked so hard for so long. Sometimes I must get a cup of black coffee to make it home without having a car crash. But as tired as I get sometimes I think about that quadriplegic man i worked for. I think about how successful he was. I think about how humble he was. I think about how motivated he was!!!! So when I feel like I'm out of energy, with no desire to do anything, I think of him and I realize I have no excuses.

Now I set aside time every day to work on my business here at Wealthy Affiliates. An hour to two hours a day 5 days a week. I am confident that I will see amazing results in the year 2020. I joined in July of this year. It took five months for me to realize what I have here. But I get it now and I see the path to success.
