Do Something Daily
When I first joined Wealthy Affiliates I would read the daily blog posts by the members here and I thought "what am I going to write about? How long will it take for me to become knowledgeable about writing blog posts? Will my content be interesting enough to the community here? " I finally came to the realization that I was in my own way of success. I also realized that this was a pattern of mine that I had followed for a very long time. No more!!! The clock is ticking and the calendar is flipping. Time management and action are essential to getting things done. So I have made a commitment to Do Something Daily.
Before I wrote this post I read a review someone had written about my site. I am in the process of making the necessary changes. I appreciate the reviews as they will help me to be a better blogger and become more efficient at building my business at Wealthy Affiliates. I welcomed some new members. I followed several people and answered every message I received.
I learned a valuable lesson from street vendors that I always refer back to for strength. Street vendors can be seen selling anything from hats to socks to umbrellas to different types of foods. In the malls there are merchants who sell their products in kiosks along the corridors of the malls. The vendors are always approaching people to get a sale for their products. Most of the time the consumer says no. Sometimes the people keep walking and don't respond at all. But they keep approaching people because they have it programmed within their mind that they need several nos in order to get a yes. Eventually that yes comes and they get a sale.
Because I am new at Wealthy Affiliates there are some issues I encounter that I don't have the answer to. In these instances I realize that it may take some time to get the answers but I welcome the challenge knowing that I will eventually get the answer. Mindset, taking action, welcoming challenges, and searching for the answers. This is what makes us powerful human beings, unstoppable until we get to our destination.
I would like to give a huge thank you to all of you who have read this post. I appreciate your time and interest. Happy New year. Do something daily.
