I don't mind getting multiple comments from the same person. It shows that they're interested in the topic and willing to carry on a discussion about it.

I never comment more than once and yes, I keep my comments positive.

I think we must be mindful of our comments. Just because you have commented on a site before does not mean you can't still give a well thought out response. That will also be difficult if you only stick to commenting on certain types of sites. I comment with the same people, because their comments are thoughtful, and they know the difference between feedback and comments...others, not so much...lol
