We are living from check to check. Everything is being paid for, so I am not hurting but there is not any extra for fun stuff like vacations. Since I am still homeschooling 3 of my 7 children, I cannot go outside the home to work...besides at my age and being out of the workforce for 30 years, who would want to hire me? So, here I am trying to make this work from home business work!

We are here because we all have one goal in common and it is to work from home by making a good living. But some people are simply scared of this kind of life. They are reassured only when a boss tells them what to do and at what time they have to finish their tasks and also they like to have a good or bad salary that falls regularly. Work at home is not for all minds, fortunately we have the courage to dream and realize our dreams, maybe we will change some mentality through our success.

Working from home is not difficult but it can be very time consuming especially in the early days.

I believe there are a lot of advantages to working for yourself. I have been self employed for a number of years now.

When you are self employed, you can choose where you work from.

The challenge that people have is that when you work for yourself, you can not count on a predictable paycheck. This is especially true in the beginning when you are building your business. You Many people are not comfortable with the extra risk.

A person that works for themselves also has to be extra disciplined and focused since there is not a boss to report to.

Personally, I think that working on the beach is over rated if you have a job that requires you to spend a lot of time on the computer or laptop. Too many distractions. Too much wind and sand. Too much glare from the sun. It has not been practical for me at least.

The positive aspect of working for yourself is that ultimately you are responsible for your success. When you work for yourself, you have the opportunity to have unlimited financial success if you provide enough value to others.

It isn't easy at first. It takes a lot of hard work and long hours for months before you can even think about getting paid. You have to learn discipline, besides everything else.

I joined because I wasn’t promised to make money in a few hours and I wasn’t asked for large amounts of money. So many make promises that I now know are impossible and their sales videos are not true

Personally I think because it is. Don’t get me wrong, working from home is an amazing achievement but it isn’t easy. If it was, everyone would do it.

I was trying to make money online before I came here by selling PS4s on OfferUp. It was a fun little side business but it can be royally frustrating. People will try to undercut you as much as they can.

It gets really annoying when you know something is worth $400, you sell it for $300 and they offer you $150. Why are you wasting my time? You think.


With affiliate marketing, You have to be willing to put the time effort and resources in to build that platform. Once you get the building blocks in place and you have a steady stream of traffic and income, it becomes more manageable.

At that point, you already know what you’re doing so it becomes easy. Just not in the beginning.

Working from home for me means I can work within my own pace and space.

My passion is writing ✍️ and through that giving value, hours and training hopefully.

I joined WA to have something to looking to as in regards to finding my true purpose in life
