Run The Numbers
I think it's very important to have short term AND long term goals. I already listed my "long term" goals (the 3 questions on monthly income goals and the time you're willing to spend). For some short term goals I thought I would do...
- $1 a day
- $10 a day
- $100 a day
- and $1000 a day.
I figure these are good benchmarks for my entreprenuerial journey online. $1 a day is really just proof of concept. If you can make $1 a day, you can make $10 a day, and so on. $10 a day starts to cover business expenses (WA Premium subscription for example) and more.
$100 a day is the first goal that I'm really excited to hit. That adds up to, conservatively, $2800 a month. That really starts to make an impact. It allows me to start paying off debt faster, treat my wife to a date or two more than usual, invest in myself some, etc. That's a big deal.
$1000 a day is a REALLY big deal to me. It's not the end all goal but, that's when it's really making an impact: $28,000 a month. The number doesn't mean anything to me. But what it represents does. It represents an income that allows my wife and I to be completely debt free, out of our jobs, able to help our families, and not worry about money. We can start saving for a house, upgrade the cars, etc.
Anyway, just wanted to lay this out now because my goal is to make a post each time I hit one of those goals and track my activity. Should be a fun and exciting ride.
Best of luck to all you digital nomads out there.
Godspeed.

Great goals and realistic. You can reach them all. Have a plan and follow the plan. Daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals. Break them down as reachable, achievable goals. Then go for it!
