Working on A Canadian Holiday?
Some people think its a holiday 'round these parts!
In Canada we celebrate the 3rd Monday in May as the Victoria Day stat holiday. The unofficial start of summer round these parts. Now the song I learned as a child in school - "the 3rd Monday in May is the Queen's birthday; if you don't give us a holiday we'll all run away". Seriously, still to this day helps me remember which Monday in May it is.
And so I am fighting the urge to "take it easy", take a holiday, with my online stuff as well.
And fighting the urge is for real, as it has been 40+ years a habit, to take the day off. However, as we all know, the online world does not take a day off.
And so I persevere with my online stuff, and blog and article write and facebook connect - no "day off" for me, unless I choose to take a bit of time to stretch my legs. Other than that, I am back to work, after experiencing a bout of Shingles for the past week. Pain meds and anti itch and comfortable clothes, and realizing that I feel the most comfortable in the early a.m. And so here I am.

Online work can go on and on and on.
Be kind to yourself and take breaks.
Get better soon with the Shingles.
Louise
Thank you for the kind words, and I will take breaks, just as if I was working for someone else. Cause, you know. Hah.
Thank you also for the well wishes about the Shingles, I hope I can recover quickly as well.
Cheers
Leona
Summer ! already?.
Some here, were talking about still having snow fall only a couple of weeks ago.
We who live in the Southern Hemisphere, really have no idea what happens in the upside down world of the Northern Hemisphere. 😎
Michael.
And since I live in the Northern Hemisphere, I have no idea what you mean, "upside down world of the North" ha ha.
Yup, summer is on its way here, we rarely get snow here in the "rain forest" of western Canada. [a.k.a. Victoria B.C.]
Cheers,
Leona
