The New Normal is Good
So with social distancing, and working online, I found that I feel kinda house bound some days. Like, I am working on my online business, and keeping things running, and somehow, its different than before.
I don't know if it's due to the suggestion to keep up the social distancing [yes, I live in B.C. and Dr. Bonnie Henry is our "go-to gal"], or if it's merely the reality of it all finally sinking in.
Like, I go shopping less often. Spend more time online.
I like that there is more sanitizers, and toilet paper, and such. And like that here, in the westernmost provice of Canada, we are currently Covi-free. And the parks and such are opening up more, just as the summer starts.
Here's hoping we can maintain our cool as we come out of pandemic mode and into the "New Normal". And here's hoping there is not a lot of depression due to "can't go back to the way it was", and hoping that there is more "yay, we can do this a new way."
The New Normal is a good thing!

We are waiting for more opening. During locked down, everything is ok with us. After re-opened, something may change, but whatever it is, beautiful to us who spend time on the WA platform. Thanks for your ethical thought. I should not be over worry about the change that is going to happen.
Thank you for your comment, I am happy to hear that all is okay with you during lockdown. The ones who grow through this are those who are not over worried about change. Entrepreneur mindset is key to this, in my humble opinion. The ability to see the good in every situation, if we look hard enough.
I appreciated your advice. I still remember your garden. My small garden added some vegetables for myself.
Good thoughts. I am hoping that our new normal will be a general trend toward living more gently on our planet, such as buying less 'stuff' and making less garbage.
I'm hoping that the new normal will be about learning to love being with ourselves, and getting back to nature and simpler times; relearning the old skills, such as growing our own food, and relying less on fossil fuels.
Many good things could come out of this experience. But I also acknowledge that it has been very hard on some people, and it will take time for them to come to terms with everything that has happened. I send them positive and healing thoughts. Being a hermit, it hasn't really affected me in that way too much.
I too hope that we don't go back to the way we were headed, and embrace our new normal.
Good thoughts in reply to my post, I thank you for your insight. Hermit or introvert, I have, fortunately, not been affected much either.
Cheers, and thanks for stopping by

Leona,
This is a great post. I'm glad you are finding a new normal coming from this pandemic.
Although, the newness will be a good thing, I do believe that a great deal of people will look at interacting with others in a much scarier way than before.
I get the idea of being cautious but I do think we will be losing the opportunity to be with friends and loved ones in the way we always have.
That troubles me in a lot of ways. I've grown up with family all around, Sunday dinners, holidays, birthdays and other special occasions. This will certainly change as family and friends rethink how they decide to interact with one another.

I certainly hope people are more cautious than they have been, yet not so much that it affects our ability to interact with family and loved ones. Here's hoping a "happy medium" will emerge.
