One week on in WA

It's been a week or so since I joined the WA community, and what a week it has been. Besides trying to get through each individual lesson of the Certification course, I was trying to spend my free time going through topics in the Trainings section that I was interested in learning more about, looking at the Questions and Discussions that people were posting, and I must admit, it was starting to get a bit overwhelming! I wondered if i was ever going to get this whole Internet and Affiliate Marketing thing, or if I had chewed more than I could swallow. And then I subsequently let the negative thoughts get to me ("I'll probably not make it", "there's too much competition", "why would people bother reading what I have to say"… and the list goes on!) but I stopped myself from wallowing in that self-defeatist thought, and realized that I was only putting unnecessary pressure on myself, and not taking the time to slowly build my website and learn it step by step.

So to those of you who are struggling to keep up, one thing I've learnt for sure is that the WA community is here to help. Whenever I have a question and feel silly to ask it, I'll always remind myself that the community here is always encouraging and always available to render assistance. And I mean it, Always!

For now, I've just installed Google Analytics onto my website and according to the data, I apparently have had 52 visitors to the site - I'm not exactly sure how accurate this data is, but I'll probably learn more about it soon, but I'm really excited that I even have eyeballs on my site! *Yay!* So here's to another good week (and many more) ahead!
