The easiest way I found to embed videos onto my site is to put them on YouTube first, then take the embed code from YouTube and insert it into your Text tab of your post. I created a YouTube page for the sole purpose of holding my videos so I may post them easily. That's what works for me. Hope this helps.

I tried the youtube method. It didn't work. still can't see the embedded video post. it's a mystery!
You can't see the post or the video itself? Where did you put the youtube code, in the visual tab or the text tab?
What's your website? If you still have it in the post, I'll take a look. Maybe it's a browser issue.

The videos are set to private. I went to one of the links, and it asked me if I had permission and to log in. Try going to your YouTube page and setting the videos to public and see if that will help. Otherwise, I cannot see the videos and check to see if the correct code is being used.
Hi, I have changed the youtube setting to public and tried posting the video again. No luck still not displaying. You should be able to check the code now.
I have discovered that I can actually copy a fb video to youtube then display it on my website BUT ONLY AS A PAGE not a POST.
I have finally done it. I can now see videos published as latest posts published on the home/blog page. The solution is still partly a mystery though! I installed a plugin called "WP Video Post" & it works. The strange thing is that I installed this plugin previously, it was one of the first things I tried, but the last time I installed it I received an error message saying the plugin could not be activated, so after several attempts I deleted it. I also tried several other plugins that claimed to embed videos but they simply did not seem to work. Since then I have made changes to several settings throughout wordpress and I can't say for sure but perhaps those changes had something to do with WP Video Post plugin working this time around! Who knows. But hey.. happy now. Thanks again for your help Dan. All the best
That's great! You were persistent and you persevered! Hey, it can stay a mystery as long as it works. Anytime you need help, let me know. I may not have the answer, but I can possibly open a few doors.

Yeah i personally cannot press the "facebook like" on any of the posts here or my facebook says my computer has malware and wont let me log in...
I do not know why...
Have you looked at this: How to Share Content & Earn at Wealthy Affiliate if it doest work just manually post your affiliate link in your posts on facebook
Yes thank you. Posting manually helps - seems to be still popping in random photos !! But for now they look ok... !!
