Thanks for commenting. I think that's where the confusion lies, I know that it's okay to have adsense ads on every page but not affiliate links. I don't want to be putting amazon native ads on my posts if it will potentially harm my rankings.

I would like to find out about this as well. I have recently started adding Amazon links to my posts but I don't know if they should be on every page. I tend to think it may be okay, because when you sign up for adsense, they serve ads to every page. This is in addition to any ads or links you may have on your page already. I think you can have them on every post but you have to limit the amount to 5 or under.

What about amazon native ads?

A few comments have been made by WA community today but nothing is showing on my wordpress dashboard and I have had no notifications confirming the comments. Does anyone know w

I would suggest you try to upgrade to the lastest version of wordpress. I recently had an issue, when I updated wordpress it was resolved.

Thanks for you help. I do have the latest version of wordpress installed. I thought that it could be an issue with the plugins but i have deactivated all plugins and still some of my posts can not receive comments. I have ask for site support now, hopefully they will be able to fix this issue for me.

Hope so. Keep us updated of the outcome. Thx.

Turns out it was a problem with the theme I was using. It's a shame because I really liked the theme and have spent hours finding a new one. But the issue is no more so I can focus on training and building my website again, after 3 unproductive days.

Thanks for the update. Hope the following will help: All the best Lee.

Hi, I installed Akismet Anti-Spam yesterday but have not activated it as i'm already using to many plug ins. Do you think this could be causing this issue with the comments on my site?

Yes it certainly could. Wordpress is known for its plugin conflicts. When you spot any issues on your website, the first thing to do is retrace any revisions you did since the last time everything was working well. I hope this helps.

Hi, I noticed when I left a comment on your website. Did you install any plugin or edited any code recently ?

I heard that if you don't make an sale through Amazon Associates in your first 90 days of signing up they close your account. Can someone please inform me if this is correct or

Wish I'd known this before! Hopefully the sales come in.
Great question by the way.

Yes amazon post a limit on this. It is actually 6 months. This is why one should not rush to go for amazon. It's better to give yourself enough time to post enough blogs and get enough traffic. I myself I wait at least 3 months before going to any affiliate programs.

Thank you for your help. I will continue to create more content and wait until I'm getting more traffic before I sign up.

Good. All the best.

There is a time limit, I think it is 90 days :-)

Thank you for you help

Pleasure :-)

Yup, that's correct.

Thanks

You're most welcome! :)

I'm currently setting up an adsense account and trying to copy some code into HTML. When I click on editor on wordpress dashboard it show an error saying

This page isn&rsqu

Just go into your dashboard, go to appearance, then click on widget- place the widget on your sidebar then add the Adsene code, then wait. in Google that it

It's best to put your Adsense code into a widget.Take a look a my site sidebar, you can see what I'm talking about. Just http://affiliatemarktingwithablog.com

Thank you for your advice. I will try this

I recommend you install the Header & Footer plugin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/ and insert the Adsense verification code into the Head Injection section.

I'd also suggest using a plugin, either Ad Inserter https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/ or WP Quads https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-adsense-reloaded/ to manage the positioning of Adsense ads.

You might also want to consider Adsense Invalid Click Protector to stop click bombs. https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-invalid-click-protector/

Thanks for your help. I will try using the plugins you have recommended.
