Are your WA blog optimized for SEO?
Are your WA blogs optimized for Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines.
My earlier blogs here at WA had to accomplish one or more of the following:
- educate
- empower
- entertain
- inspire
- inform
you get the gist.
It still does,
but...
I used to wonder why some member were long-winded. With their WA. blog:)
I used to write my blog one way:
short sweet and simple!
Maybe not sweet all the time.LOL
You was lucky to get 200 words out of me!
Not anymore.
After reading Boomergp08's blog post on" how to write effective blogs", my whole outlook on writing blogs here transformed immediately.
Did you know that WA blogs are indexed and ranked just like your website blogs?
You are not alone, I didn't know either.
Now that we are no longer in ignorant bliss, what are "we" going to do about it!
Write a 1000 word blog?
sheesh!
Writing at least 12 1000 word posts a month for my website was daunting enough!
Shoot!
I'm tired already on this blog and I'm not at 200 Words!
so if your are trying to get indexed and improve your ranking and promote your website with a 1000 word plus WA blog post.
You go right ahead
knock yourself out!
Me I never should have eaten from the tree of knowledge!
Compare to what I know what I got to do now with my WA blog.
Aiming for indexing and ranking just like my website blog.
No more ranting and random ramblings with my WA blogs?
yeah, right!
Sometimes I miss being ignorant!
Ignorance was bliss!
SO WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

People do both here ... if it gets ranked in google and someone clicks it they get pop ups encouraging them to sign up ... if they do you get a commission automatically( no links needed ). I don’t scale mine here towards search traffic though because I blog here for fun but my business in not WA related in the slightest so if I found a great keyword sequence I would have to put it here or scale a whole new website
I have seen our WA blogs getting indexed fast. But do I consciously write my WA posts with Google in my mind? I don't. I have read posts from more experienced members saying we should be optimising our content here as they get indexed (and ranked) in Google and other search engines because Wealthy Affiliate is an "authority" site. I have noticed a pattern in my writing - whenever ideas dry up or the inspiration for my next blog post on my business site is not happening, I write a post here in WA. This happens almost unconsciously and is more like a warm-up before the final run. One more thing, I conserve my energy for my business blog, and in my WA blog posts, I try to say whatever I have to - musings, rants, ramblings, teasings, thinking aloud - within 300-400 words. Just the perfect length for me. Whenever I see members writing long blog posts here in WA, I'm left wondering if I would not have posted them on my own business site instead of posting them here had I been in their shoes. I wish I could write like them :)
you must be a mind reader my thoughts exactly.
I save an"optimized" post for my business.
WA post for entertainment
