Why? there is so much unhappiness
Why?
Is there so much unhappiness in the world today. There is no genuine happiness anywhere even the animals cry and lament
Why?
Can it be because of the lack employment in many Countries. People find it harder and harder to support their growing families in today`s time and age.
I have young Grandchildren growing up and achieving their High school and University degrees in South Africa which is super for them, but where do they go from there, there is no work in South Africa for the young people, and also for the elderly. and this in the end leads to depression and sometimes even suicide. Many people young and old sleep under Bridges and in any place where there is a semblance of shelter.
FINANCIAL worries seem to plague us all! IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE! most people are concerned about making ends meet.
This astonishing fact was brought about by a national survey. THINK OF IT! In a wave of prosperity, in the most prosperous nations that ever existed, about 25% of parents are "farming out" their children so that both parents can work
WHY,
When you stop to think about it, never in the history of this world were any nations so rich as the English-speaking and the western European nations of today! Our peoples possess more developed resources and national wealth than any people ever had before. Yet nearly every one of us is engaged in a constant STRUGGLE to make ends meet. Financial worries seem constantly to bear us down - rob us of real happiness and joy! WHY SHOULD THIS BE?
These are Questions we all at some time or other ask ourselves Why is this world and its peoples so unhappy.
Courts have taken prayer out of the classroom and public institutions. The ten Commandments have been removed from parks, schools and Courthouses
Is this the reason only the very few are really happy and successful? have we turned our backs on our Creator God, the God who promised us Blessings beyond belief through our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob if we obeyed Him, have we forgotten Him. Is this why in spite of the current prosperity in much of the world, we find people constantly overspending, in debt and desperately unhappy?

So much truth in this post. Thank you for the Scriptures. However, I believe that people's lifestyle make them the way they are. No matter what they have or accomplish it's just never enough for them. They always want MORE. Even when they can't afford it. People just aren't grateful and live bitter.
Most people are spoilt and greedy this day and age. Give me, give me without giving in return.
Very negative attitudes will cause it. The more they get the less they appreciate it.
In Australia, every young person has to go to university but there are no jobs.
While we have a shortage of tradespeople. Tradespeople are making more money now than those that go through university.
