5 Months with WA

Hellooooooo! April 10th means it's time to check up on my progress here at WA. (Looks like I missed it by one day.) 5 months feels like a middle month to me. One more month and I'll hit my 6 months. That's insane!

As always, lots of writing was done. I'm starting to look forward to hitting my 100-200 posts per website because then maybe I can scale back a little bit. I've written almost all of my posts for April. In the past month I wrote 64921 words for a total of 194771 words over five months.

Traffic is still a struggle, though I am picking up here and there. Site comments is sadly still my highest driver of traffic. :(

On my first website, I've dropped from 176 visitors (173 new) and 489 pageviews in Feb-Mar, to 157 visitors (153 new) and 214 pageviews. So that's disappointing, but hey, what to do?

I've stayed on track with my 17 posts a month for each site, meaning 34 posts a month.

I've got some other ideas for business ventures but have told myself I'd have to do them alongside this, while prioritizing what I've started here. I don't want to abandon this and do a shiny object chasing venture, not sticking with anything.

Starting to feel the effects of being constantly around my family with this quarantine, but at least it's warm enough to start running. Even if we've had a couple more days of snow.

Just chugging along I suppose.
