Hi Everyone!

If you wish, please take a quick look at my website and let me know what you think in terms of design and content:

http://www.passion-for-change.com/

LauraL, just a quick update. I posted your webpage on my facebook timeline and already one of my friends decided to go to your site and he said he liked it and clicked the like button..Great job and please stay inspired because your inspiration will inspire others!!!!!!!

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!

LauraL, I will go ahead and post your site link to my facebook page because some of my friends could use the inspiration that your site provides. Once again, Thanks for such a wonderful site!

Thank you for willing to share it!
I also have a Facebook page and a Twitter account that can be accessed through my website, if people would like to follow me.
Now I'll have to work even harder not to let anyone down :)

WOW, That was extremely Awesome! I love that page! Very Great! Looks very professional, it appears you have done this before. Very Wonderful Job!

Thanks, jlramsdell81!

Seeing that people like my page brings me great joy, as in the end all my work is for you, the audience.
I've never done this before; however, I am self-taught and before even starting building my website, I learned to "play" a bit with html, php and css :)

Please let me know if there's anything that I can help you with. Cheers!

Laural, amazing outlook. just focus on the grammatical errors. Se you at the top. Cheers

Thanks, Pojams! Will definitely do ;)

Hi crazytrain,

Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it! I made all the suggested changes.

Writing in English is a bit of a challenge for me, as it's my 2nd language - so what would normally take me 30 minutes to write in my native language, it takes maybe 1-2 hours in English.

I will definitely turn to someone who's a native speaker and who could proofread my posts before publishing them.

If there's any way that I could return the favor please let me know.

You're welcome

Glad I could help, and can see where the 2nd language situation can make things a little difficult ,particularly in writing formal English.

Don't misunderstand, the way you are now writing is perfectly fine for things such as emails to your friends or socializing on Facebook or even this community for that matter, but with publjc communications it needs to be formal

I was born here but written formal English can be a pain for myself as well, and I will probably get one of my nearby friends to proofread my content before going public with my site.

I'm sure you know this, but most modern text editors can help with grammar too.
They don't always give good advice but they are good for pointing to potential grammatical errors, so keep the spell-check function on.

Anyway, have fun with it.

Hi Laura,

I think you're off to a good start - nice layout and pleasing to the eye.
However: I would check all your text fields for grammar.

On the Welcome page for instance: 1st sentence, change "and" to "but", the 2nd "would" to "can", and "only a few" to "very few".

Sentence 4: change "resisting to it" to "resisting it" or "by resisting to it" to "out of fear"

Sentence 6: change the whole sentence to:"The only way people can embrace change is by never losing sight of their goals: maintaining a positive attitude; and taking daily action" or something along those lines.

If you have any friends right close at hand who are good with grammar, ask them to proofread for you.

other than that it's a pretty little site, easy to navigate, and the general message seems to ring true.

I hope this helps!

I own a domain and am using the Simple Catch theme. By default, the comment template is enabled for all pages and posts. I couldn't find an option to deactivate the comments on

Hi Laura,
When creating/editing a post or page, scroll to the very top, on the right side, click screen options.
Put a checkmark in "Discussions", now when you scroll down way down you'll see the option to disable comments etc.

It worked!!! :) The top bar was the only place where I wasn't looking :)
Thanks so much, welshy!

2 years later I had the same problem, but thanks to you fixed it. Thank you welshy
