Hunting down investors

So what do you do when you look at a magazine and you see the person you want to invest in your big idea.

You don't want them to call you a stalker so you don't even broche the subject. You send them emails anyway. Pour the emails on because they are busy and don't have time for insecurities.

What do you do when they don't leave any contact information. Go to them. Find there office and bang on there door and tell them to take all of your time.

Ok ok.

All of this is bad advice. Except it is not. That is really how it is in the world of any business it really takes a show stopping performance to make someone turn there head and say, "I want what you have."

I watch as all of my friends are making it work despite the struggles in there lives and it makes me want to get back into the race so bad some times.

I like what I am doing though. I like speaking to people and getting them excited about life again. There seemed to be a time when people where not and Everyone was "Finding themselves."

I could not wait for people to say what they mean and mean what they say.

Where the pot was cooking I found it and got paid.

Sometimes I wonder though....how far could I have gone if we all just got along.

I really appreciate this post because it made me smile. It also made me think of the many times I faced rejection and just gave up. The fact is that sometimes it does not take multiple rejections for someone to quit. Most times it only takes one. I listen to people say things like 'nobody likes that', 'everyone says it won't work' etc. and I know that there is no way one person knows everybody. It is something we say to justify why we are choosing to quit.
I agree that stalking would not go over well, but I suppose there is a fine line between persistence and stalking.
