I have no clue why it happened, but I'm sure tickled!
So, I decided to do a Google search for "toxin free" (two words in my site's URL), a pretty popular search term today.
"And what to my wondering eyes should appear but two Google listings that I hold so dear!"
Low and behold, out of 4,130,000 results, two of my blog posts are #10 and #11 on the first page! How is that possible??????
I'm just starting Course 4 and my website doesn't even have more than maybe seven or eight posts.
And I don't have a clue why my picture is showing up with my Google listings. I did read that can have a positive effect on getting you ranked higher -- but Page One????
Does anyone know what I did to cause my picture to show up there?
I mean, out of 4,130,000 results, I'm tickled to be on Page One. I've just tried to follow the training the best I can, but I know that there are many, many things I'm missing and have yet to learn.
Geez, if I can get to Page One, any of you folks can!! :-)
Do any of you folks who've been around awhile have any clue how I ended up on Page One out of that many results, and also what I did to cause my picture to be with the result??

Hi your G+ search results will also show up for anyone in your Google+ circles so it's not all bad!
Hi yes U know because you are probably logged into google and it is really showing you the Google + results and not the actual Google.com results - the Google picture is just from you Google account
This has happened to me and I wax so excited but then realized it can not happen like this and I found out the hard way best regards

Hi Paul,
Do you think maybe only I am seeing those results? Could you do me a favor and at Google search, put in "toxin free" and on the first page of results see if my Google+ posts come up in about the 11th and 12th spots. That might help me know what is going on and whether it is just showing up on my search results. I have not had my Google+ account open when I do the search.

Hello and sorry but nothing has come up and I have checked to page 12 so as I said it is your google page and you are logged in to it same happens to me when I started

I did determine that they came from posts I had made on my Google+ account, so I guess that's a good reason to copy all posts we make on our websites also to our Google+ accounts.
Heck yes!! Congrats on making it to page 1 without even trying lol hehe! Clearly you are doing something right in order to make page 1 for such a competitive niche, and there are many factors that go into google's determination on who ranks and why. But if I were you, I would find out what search results you are ranking for, and go to your other posts and duplicate everything you did to make it to page 1 and apply those same tactics across your website =)
