I use social media, including Facebook. I also have facebook running an add for me. The facebook add just started 2 days ago, so no results yet. Its running me $76.00 to run the add for 5 weeks.
I post to facebook at least 1-2 pages or posts a day.

Thanks all for the input! Actually i purchased an over50 domain name and gearing the site towards the over50 demographic. One category will be on retirement, one category travel, health and wellness, etc. trying to determine which category i want to build out first to get the most traffic the quickest before going on to a new category.

retired people are the ones that have apparently enough money to spend (or at least that is a target you could target).

I would however specify more on what you want to sell or in which direction.
For example:

retired people that want to travel.

or if it is a bootcamp site:

retired people that want to earn more

Absolutely, there are many retired and more to come, but it should be a topic you know a lot about, like a hobby. It does not belong in the top 10 best niches, but it can be a good niche.

Hi Dee I think I know exactly what you mean! This is my first time back on WA for a while. I really want this too-but somehow there is always something else that needs doing like work, kids, house work, shopping and the list goes on. I read somewhere that momentum is the number one skill for successful people. I have had countless beginnings but no finish or success so far and I'm getting sick of it!!! I'm going to give my affiliate business another proper go- will you do it with me and we can push each other:)

I read other members'blogs and always get motivation from the blogs. I also read classrooms. Many lessons there to be learnt.

Re-visit your old posts. See if that will spark some ideas for newer posts.
If the task seems too daunting then break it up into small things you can do each day.

It's easy to login - check!
Maybe re-tweet and old post - check!
Re-watch a training - or find a new one (most are under 20 minutes so that's not a lot of time) - check!

Browse the keyword tool to find a new keyword for your niche.

I also like to visit other people's site that are within my niche so I can see what they are doing. I've found lots of good ideas that way too.

And sometimes remember that you NEED a break. I go through a weekly cycle - Mondays I'm motivated, Tuesdays I'm tired, Wednesdays I'm forcing something out because I missed Tuesday, Between Thursdays and Fridays I try to get something new out - and after the weekend I'm usually rested up and motivated again.

Just find your footing.
