Very First Steps

Hi there

I have been floating around at WA for a few weeks now - I am on a starter membership and I have zero experience with marketing and very limited technical skills! I have spent a lot of time reading training sessions that I have access to and I feel I have built up quite an established preliminary understanding of IM - at a conceptual level of course..........but you gotta start somewhere right?

I am not so worried about all the techical stuff - I figure I can yell out and there will people here to help me time and time again.........and they are skills I can probably learn with commitment and determination.

My first major angst has been with my niche (yes I can hear you all groaning cos it seems to everyone's problem when they first start). But I have found so difficult that I do not know how i will become any kind of presence in this area when there are so many experts with very snazzy looking websites already?

I have had to counsel myself on a number of occassions simply to 'give it a go!'

So I have started to give it a go!

My main concern is content and my wrirting and content building skills.

I would therefore ask my fellow members here to take a look at what I have come up with already with my rudimentary beginnings. Today I stumbled through most of the first steps - and I mean stumble!
