Hello Fellow Wealthy Affiliate Achievers!!

I began this journey back on April 21, 2015 when I started building a Facebook closed group, Barefoot Journaling Chronicles, with a charter membership of 5 (including myself). However, I didn't begin my website/blog until early February of this year (2017), just after nearly getting scammed on a Work at Home Institute website (complete with icons from all the news networks...CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, etc (false advertising). What a relief to find a truly viable entity in Wealthy Affiliate right after that!!

While going through the training here I have been running my Facebook group as well as creating content, posting 39 blog posts to my Facebook group page with future plans to add them to my blog. And my FB group, BJC, even acquiring 1,052 members within two years.

Building this website/blog to this point...7 blog posts with photos and keywords is a really great accomplishment for a newbie non-techie like me!!

I originally built a copywriting website with Weebly in 2014, but let it expire as I was headed in a completely different direction, but that website was definitely easier to create, it seems. However, I also didn't have the training and support that I've enjoyed here at Wealthy Affiliate that is a definite 'over the top' benefit!!!

I have sooo appreciated the 'pay it forward' feature here and have loved connecting with like minded helpers willing to lend a hand with no further payment than just to help a newbie who's struggling to figure all this new stuff out. To all of you who've helped me...I feel honored and indebted. I, too have enjoyed helping others where I can too.

Within the training it's been a two steps forward, three steps back process sometimes. When I get stuck, I have to tell myself to give my friends at WA time to help me. We live in an instant contact world, but people have a lot going on too. And many may come to your aid, but you may only be able to relate to what one is saying sometimes, so be patient. The answer will come and you will be all the wiser when others ask you the same question down the road. It pays to learn and help someone else who's in the same boat as you. It DOES take a village...and I'm so glad I'm a part of this one!! YAYYYY!!

Looking ahead...

My future looks bright as I head into Course #3...into making money!!!!! Hey, isn't that a good reason why we're here? We want to build our own empires from the ground up and offer value to our following(s)? After building two years for free, I'm ready for this next step in my journey!! How about YOU? Yeah...thought so! ;)

Solid sure footed steps...one day at a time...will get me there! I know I'm on the right path...and thanks to Kyle and Carson and all of my friends here, we ALL can make it if we stay the course.
