Ask the right question
How do you refer someone to Wealthy Affiliate? Usually by asking them a question or making a statement. If asking a question, make sure you ask the right one. For example:
A woman called the fire station to report a fire. The man asked, "Where is the fire?"
She said, "At my house!"
He asked, "Can you be more specific?"
She replied, "In the kitchen!"
Exasperated, the man snapped, "How do we get to your house?"
The woman yelled' "Y'all got a firetruck, ain't cha?"
Anyway, you get the idea. All he would have needed to ask is, "What is your address?"
The right question to ask when you want to refer someone to Wealthy Affiliate depends upon your personality. The list of questions is endless:
- What line of work are you in?
- Want to make money online?
- Ever heard of Wealthy Affiliate?
- Etc, etc, etc...
The same goes for making a statement. The list is endless:
- I have an online business!
- I work from home!
- I make money from my laptop!
- I am a Premium member of Wealthy Affiliate!
Just remember, the question or statement should be tailored to the situation your are in at the moment.
I personally tend to be somewhat aggressive when I refer someone to WA. I usually ask them if they have heard of WA or I tell them about WA. Either way, I just add a little enthusiasm and it works for me.
