The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is today. Chinese proverb

I found this in my papers the day I decided to go premium. This proverb took me back more than twenty years ago when I was first introduced to the Internet and computers. I was a full time student writing a lot of research papers. Cut and paste were my new best friends. My living room floor was no longer covered in papers taped together until I found their rightful place in my paper. No more typewriter with the whiteout. Not leaving out the research ability of the Internet! I could type anything in and read about it. No more lugging twenty books home in hopes of finding something relevant to my paper.

My children were in middle and high school. At the time I was studying art and felt committed in my direction, but I tried to excite my boys about the possibilities open to them. They did not listen as they had their own paths to follow, but here I am so many years later exploring that vision.

Today is the second best time to plant that tree. Now I am cultivating, watering, pulling weeds and encouraging it to grow big and strong. I am so happy to have found Wealthy Affiliate and the community associated here. I wish you all the best in your own personal journey.
