Back online.
Hi my WA friends. I have been out of touch for the last month. As mentioned in a previous blog we decided to make Mexico our main residence and leased out our home in Alaska. This created an immense amount of work; packing, sorting, purging, and fixing long ignored problems at the house. It also meant I had little time left over for WA.
I arrived safely in Mexico with my dog and two cats in tow. My sister traveled with me for a much needed vacation and to help with all the luggage. Our first day here we experienced an earthquake. No damages, just a few very exciting moments! I also had no internet!
Before I left I unplugged my modem to protect it from summer storms. While talking to the tech I realized I had only plugged in the power and not the line to the phone jack! Goes to show you if you are tired it is time to walk away for a bit. Rest. Then come back and take a fresh look. Needless to say; I apologized for taking up their time. They must have some great stories to share at their Christmas parties!
It is time to get back in the swing of learning and writing on my site, as well as catch up with my friends at WA. I plan on reviewing my lessons, updating pages with pictures, and add new posts. My trip down here gave me some new information to share with others traveling with their pets.
I hope you all have had a great month.
Linda

Be careful with health acclimatization Linda. Alaska to Mexico (except some highland regions) is a big leap!
Thank you Mike. It is a big leap. From very dry to very humid as well as chilly to hot. We have to be careful not to use air conditioners unless it is totally necessary as they contribute to catching colds. We have been doing this for several years and have learned the hard way.
