3 months at WA - highs & lows
So it's now been 3 months, almost to the day, that I signed up with Wealthy Affiliate and became a Premium member and what a 3 months it has been!
A little disclaimer with the following imformation - all this has been completed while I continue in my 4 day a week job as a Business Administrator for a rural nursing centre in Victoria, Australia
In the past three months I have almost finished the Certification Course with only 2 lessons to complete on Course 5. What a great learning tool for affiliate marketing. I have learned so much during this time completing the lessons and thoroughly recommend that everyone complete the whole course.
My niche website www.yourmirrorimage.com has been created with 14 posts, 4 pages and 62 comments so far. From that site I have made a couple affiliate sales (though small) that shows me the system works.
As a photographer I've also been able to create a website as a home for my photography with 16 posts and 26 comments so far. www.kymmcleod.com At some stage I hope to create an online store to sell my photography and also, in some way, to incorporate affiliate links.
My brain has almost exploded in the last three months with the influx of learning - not being a website designer and all of this affiliate marketing information being new to me. However, I still live, and am willing to give this a long term investment as I see a huge potential.
There have been highs and lows as I have struggled to juggle work, learning the Wordpress themes back end, creating content, and caring for my family. I am now trusting that I have gone over some of the greatest hurdles on this journey and am concentrating on developing content for my sites.
My small piece of advice is to stick with it! It's a process that matures with time and "Never Give Up".

Nice job Kym, very inspiring for all of us starting to create our own online streams. Im also in my 3 months now with the same situation as you, working full-time and taking care of my kid (cause I'm a single mom), you did better than I am, and I'm proud of you!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Ces. Don't give up. Just keep plodding on and you'll get there.
Woh, excellent news Kymmie, making sales within 3 months. I've only just started myself. Been here 1 month. I'm getting through the course and building up my site. Hope I get to where you are within 3 months and making some sales. It does show then that this works. All the best for you and your website.
Thanks for your comments! Never give up! Keep going and follow the training is my humble advice. :)
