At first I was afraid
At first I was afraid I was petrified.
I'm sure we all recognise those lyrics, but I grew strong!
Coming here is very daunting for a newbie like me with no experience, but I have dedicated 2 whole days so far and I'm starting to see my site come together nicely. As Kyle keeps saying, don't be afraid to ask questions, and use the search questions bar for possible quick answers.
Following the tutorials to the word has made my journey easier, and when in your dashboard editing your pages and want to see how changes affect your page, right click at the very top where it says Welcome to <name of your site> and open in a new tab, you can then simply refresh the page after changes to see how it looks, rather than clicking back and forth to the dashboard and loosing where you were. A simple tip I know but one I have grown to use constantly. Likewise, I found watching the videos on one page and having my site open on another was a real god send, being able to flip back and forth between the two so that I could make changes as the video got to specifics.
I've still a lot to learn and I know that by following the premium tutorials and all the advice is going to be a steep learning curve, but if you want success then commit. As mentioned elsewhere its not a get rich scheme, although it will certainly enrich your knowledge of how to make a site, and importantly, how to make it work for you!
