One Month at Wealthy Affiliate
Hey Everyone,
Today marks about the one month period that I have been a member at Wealthy Affiliate. I created my free account from the start, like most people do, and immediately upgraded to premium within the first week.
I knew what great things WA had to offer and I wanted to get started right away. (For some background info I am a Life Insurance Agent so everything I have done so far has been in my spare time which is maybe an hour or two each day.)
Here are a few things I have accomplished so far within my first month at WA:
- I created 2 new fully functioning websites (one promoting WA, one for my niche)
- Both of my websites are indexed in Google
- I have created social media accounts (Google +, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest) for my niche website
- I have created 12 pages/posts on my WA site and 15 pages/posts on my niche site
- I have gotten ranks in the top 5 in Google for a couple of my pages/posts so far
- My WA rank has increased rapidly (currently ranked 1260)
- I added google adsense to both of my websites
These are just some of the main points I have been able to accomplish so far but there have been a lot of small goals and hurdles I have conquered as well.
Just looking back and thinking about how it has only been ONE MONTH in this great community and everything I have already done to set the groundwork really puts things into perspective. I can't imagine where I will be 3 months, 6 months, or a year from now.
My 3 month goals are:
- Have 50 pages/posts of content on my niche website and 40 on my WA site
- Start monetizing both sites
- Create an email list and autoresponder for both sites
- Rank in the top 800 at WA
My 6 month goals are:
- Have 100 pages/posts of content on my niche website and 80 on my WA site
- Start making $500-$1000/month
- Increase my followers on all social media accounts and continue to build those out
- Rank in the top 500 at WA
My 1 year goals are:
- Have over 200 pages/posts of content on my niche website and 100 on my WA site
- Start making over $1000/month
- Rank in the top 250 at WA
I know some of these goals may seem high but just looking at everything I have accomplished so far in just one month I know that they are attainable if I continue putting in the work and learning new things. I want to encourage anyone who has been with WA for a month or even a couple months now to really sit down and look at everything you have accomplished and do a self reflection of where you are now and where you can go.

You've accomplished a lot in such a short time so you should be very proud of yourself. Your sites look great and I see that you have the passion and drive that will make you successful at this. Keep up the good work!

I see you have been with WA for about 6 months now. Just curious if you are having your own success and making money yet? I always love to see and hear about others who stick with it and it paying off for them.
