One Site. Three Niches? HELP
Hey everybody.
I got the question today "what is your blog about?" from a guy at work... That his prompted this post.
I started my first website on April 1st and as I'm writing more blog posts and fine tuning the site, I think I've realized I've made a mistake.
I set up the blog to be about three things:
Affiliate Marketing
Real Estate
Books Reviews
I saw a guy's website recently that ONLY did book reviews and I'm wondering, have I spread this too thin? Will people be turned off by me having multiple topics to cover?
If you get a chance (and I would be FOREVER grateful), would you please check the site out and give me your general impression?
Do you want to stay on the site? Are you confused by it? Is it easy to navigate?
What makes you want to leave? What could be better?
Thank you in advance!

It looks good to me both your main and sidebar posts and the graphics are attractive. you are a great designer. I'm hard put to find exceptions.
I would however work to consolidate everything you can under ONE niche for maximum targeting effect until you are more financially afloat!
Thank you for the feedback. My feeling is that I need to narrow the focus as well. Would you pick one of the 3 niches? Or do you think I can maybe change to something like, kylekrason.com - The 7 Year Retirement Plan....?
I'm not confident I could produce 40 posts on one of the three niches, at this stage, by itself.

Hello,
First of all ! what is your feeling about it ?
Will it be cofusing for you to visit such a site ?
Why is a niche so important !
Why is focus important !
Do you know that people spend no more than a few second on your landing page.
And if it is not clear or not interesting they leave !
Consider this points !
Have a nice day !

My gut feeling tells me that my site is confusing. I'm thinking about maybe putting all the niches under one umbrella. But then the site may be to broad.
Great input about the landing page. I'll have to check that out. I currently don't have one.
Thank you - Kyle
You're always welcome !
