Hey Everyone,

One of the biggest differences between businesses that struggle and those that succeed is this: they truly understand their customer.

When you know who you’re talking to (what keeps them up at night, what motivates them, what they want most) everything you create becomes sharper. Your content resonates. Your offers connect. And your brand finally starts to feel alive.

That’s what this week’s challenge is all about.

This week, I want you to define your Dream Customer... the person your business exists to help most.

What to Do:

  1. Think about your niche and the specific type of person you’re building for.
  2. Post in the comments:
    • Who your Dream Customer is (age, lifestyle, background, etc.)
    • The top 3 problems they face in your niche
    • How your business, website, or brand helps them solve those problems
  3. (Optional for Premium & Premium Plus+ members): Add an image that represents your Dream Customer.

The Prize:

Top 5 most liked entries will each receive (total of $75 per prize, and $375 in prizes).

  • 💰 $25 Cash Credits
  • 10,000 AI Credits ($50 value)

Key Details:

  • Open to ALL members: Starter, Premium, and Premium Plus+
  • Challenge Dates: Wednesday, October 29 – Tuesday, November 4, 2025
  • Post early so your entry has time to gather likes!

Example: A Dream Customer Breakdown

Let’s say your niche is “Helping Busy Parents Grow Backyard Gardens.”

Your Dream Customer:

Sarah, 38, a working mom of two. She loves the idea of growing her own food but doesn’t know where to start. Between her job and kids, she doesn’t have much time to learn, and she’s afraid of failing.

Her Core Problems:

  1. Not enough time or knowledge to get started.
  2. Overwhelmed by online advice and what to buy.
  3. Frustrated by past failed attempts.

How You Help:

  • You simplify gardening into short, doable steps.
  • You recommend affordable starter kits that work in any climate.
  • You share success stories from other busy parents to build confidence.

When you can describe your customer this clearly, your business direction becomes crystal clear.

Now It's Your Turn...

Think about your dream customer. Who are they? What do they need?
And how can your business make their life better?

Comment below and introduce us to your Dream Customer.

PS. Tomorrow I will be announcing the winners of the past 3 challenges, and paying those out. Stay tuned!

Hi WA Fam,

Good day.

Who is Gospel Swags Dream Customer:

Our dream customer is a young adult (18–30) who loves God and fashion. They’re active in church, creative, and want to express their faith in a modern way that fits their lifestyle.

Top 3 Challenges They Face:
1️⃣ Christian apparel often feels outdated or not stylish enough.
2️⃣ They want to share their faith but without being judgemental.
3️⃣ They don’t see brands that represent their generation’s voice.

How Gospel Swag Helps:
Gospel Swag blends streetwear and faith to make bold, modern apparel that sparks conversations about the Gospel. We inspire young believers to rep their faith with swag and connect to a movement that’s spreading the Gospel through fashion.

When they wear Gospel Swag, they’re not just styling... they’re swaggin’ with a purpose!

My Dream Customer:

She’s a woman on a mission! Not afraid to go after a career while also raising a family. Maybe she doesn’t quite know how to balance it all yet, but she knows what she wants and she’s doing everything she can to get it!

Her Core Problems:
1. Time. How do you work on your dreams while balancing the lives and dreams of your family?
2. Organisation. She gets to the end of the week and doesn’t know what’s she’s done or where she’s at! Nothing feels completed and the house is a mess.
3. Herself. Looking after her mental health goes out the window when everyone else comes first. How does she prioritise herself and what can she actually do for self care?

How You Help:
* Offer actionable steps to help improve her time management and organisation.
* Sharing my own experiences and making sure she doesn’t feel alone.
* Providing real solutions she can do straight away to help her have a career and a family and feel successful in all areas.

4

Good to know your dream customer, CaseyOtto1. Many women juggle career and family without feeling like anything is fully done, so having simple steps to manage time and stay organized can make day-to-day life less overwhelming. Feeling behind at home while trying to build a career is more common than people admit.

Sharing what’s worked for you can help her feel understood, and giving quick actions she can try right away makes it easier for her to take care of herself while still moving toward her goals.

Israel.

2

your "woman on a mission" dream customer resonates so deeply. That feeling of juggling everything – career, family, personal dreams – yet feeling like nothing is truly done at the end of the week, is a universal struggle for so many high-achieving women. It's a silent battle against overwhelm and the guilt of not being "enough."

Your focus on actionable steps, sharing your own experiences, and providing immediate solutions is exactly what she needs. It's about giving her permission to prioritize herself and offering tangible ways to reclaim her time and mental well-being. You're not just offering strategies; you're offering validation and a pathway to feeling successful in all areas of her life. Truly insightful and impactful!

1

Hey Casey,
You’ve described your dream customer well. She’s strong, determined, and doing her best to balance everything life throws at her. You’ve done a great job outlining her struggles with time, organization, and self-care — all things so many people can relate to.

It’s awesome that you’re focusing on giving her actionable steps and sharing your own journey. That personal touch will definitely help her feel supported and understood.

Your dream customer is lucky to have someone like you who truly gets her world.

Paul

1

As someone who is the youngest of 4 siblings with 3 being older sisters, I have seen first hand what a woman on a mission can accomplish when they put their mind to it.

However, when she is career driven and has to balance time for family, it can and does slow down her desired mission. I had seen this with two of my sisters, both leaders in their careers.

Giving them a plan of action to better manage the time of a motivated woman, would go a long way to accomplishing her tasks in a more timely manner. Your 3-points for helping will be fruitful.

2

My Dream Customer

My dream customer is a thoughtful mother in her 30s or 40s who wants to raise kind and confident children who will be doing well as they grow up. She loves books and hopes her children will grow up loving stories and learning as much as she does.

Top 3 Problems She Faces

Overwhelmed by choice. There are so many books, so many toys, so many different ideas about parenting, she’s unsure what’s truly helpful and how much of all the things that are recommended she truly needs.

Wants to do her very best to help her child’s development but isn’t always sure how she can best support them without feeling that she is pushing them or overprotective.

Wants to create a strong bond with her child, and wants to connect with other parents who have similar values and appreciate creativity, books and learning.

How My Sites Help

I have a parenting site and a bookworms site that is mainly for children's books.
I offer gentle advice on milestones, literacy, and learning through play as well as giving support and advice on typical problems that parents face.

I suggest activities, games, and crafts with step by step instructions to help her enjoy the time she has with her child.

I curate book lists for different age groups and interests as well as lists of favourite authors. These are books that I have often read over and over with children of various ages, often young private pupils for whom I find the books that they will truly love.

3

Your customer reminds me of my wife. She is in her 40s and has been bedridden due to stroke four years ago. I'm the only sole caregiver to her to our 8 year old daughter.
I would love to check the children's book because my daughter loves reading.

Great customer!

Paul.

2

It's great to hear that your 8 year old daughter loves reading. I am sorry to hear about your wife. I will get in touch later - it may be tomorrow because it's already 8pm here and I still need to do a lot of things today - perhaps on your profile or by PM. I love talking about books, especially for that age group of girls, but I don't want to hijack this thread of the weekly challenge.

2

wow, I can see millions could do with being your dream customer:)

Awesome

2

Thanks and looking forward.

2

Nice to know your dream customer, Internetgranny. Many parents just want to raise confident kids without feeling buried by choices or pressure. It’s easy to wonder if they’re doing too much or not enough, especially when they care about connection, stories, and learning.

Your sites give them simple ideas they can enjoy with their kids — good books, small activities, and calm support so they can focus on time together instead of the noise.

Israel.

2

Thanks Israel. I made such a person my dream customer - but the thing that I find frustrating is that it's the conscientious parents that are likely to read my blogs and get inspiration from activities and books I suggest. But it's the less educated that could really do with some advice, but they are the ones who aren't likely to read parenting blogs.

1

That's great Isabella. I always liked reading books, especially the ones that stimulate the imagination. When I think back I credit my inquisitive thoughts and active imagination to my mom.

She never let me watch TV when I was little during the week, but she always found time to read to me after homework everyday. Then on the weekends she would let me watch cartoons on TV.

My favorite books growing up were the ones with big colorful illustrations like all of the Charlie Brown and Dr. Seuss books. She always made reading time fun. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

2

Thank you, Robert. Your mention of the books you loved when you were growing up has inspired me to look up one of my Dr. Seuss books and write a blog about it. I am just about to publish it.

1

Cool! I'll go looking for it.

Aside from the more famous Dr. Seuss quotes like, "One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish!" and "I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam-I-Am!" I like this one too, "Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks."

1

Do you remember where this one comes from?? "Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks."

1

To tell the truth, I don't remember. I just remember the quote because it reminds me of my sister's house. She's a big book reader.

1

Thank you - not surprising. This is what I found out from AI:
While it’s often credited to him in collections of Seuss quotes, it’s worth noting that this particular line doesn’t appear in any of his published books. Instead, it seems to be a paraphrased or stylized tribute that echoes his rhyming cadence and themes—especially the joy of books and the magic of imagination.

1

That's good to know! I often wondered why I couldn't find out what book that was from. Thank you AI!

2

My Dream Customer!

Who is my dream customer?
My dream customer is ..... generally female (almost an even split of female/male), between the ages of 35–60+. They live in suburban or semi-rural area, with a backyard or small garden space. They are generally middle-income professional, part-time worker, or retiree with time to devote to gardening, with a moderate income — enough to invest in quality tools, seeds, and sustainable solutions, but cost-conscious.

My dream customer finds peace and joy in being outdoors and connecting with nature. Enjoys learning and experimenting — from composting to companion planting.
Values self-sufficiency, health, and sustainability. Feels proud when harvesting homegrown vegetables, herbs, or flowers. Loves sharing photos, tips, or garden successes on social media or with friends.

My dream customer grew up appreciating nature — maybe she helped her parents or grandparents in their garden or simply enjoyed being outdoors as a child. As life got busy with work and family, that connection faded for a while. Now, with a bit more stability — perhaps her kids are older, or she’s spending more time at home — she’s rediscovering that love for gardening.

What are the top 3 problems/pain points facing my cream customer? They can be overwhelmed by conflicting gardening advice online. Struggles with limited time, unpredictable weather, or pests. Unsure which products or tools are worth investing in. Wants clear, trustworthy recommendations — not sales pitches. Needs easy-to-follow guidance for her specific growing conditions.

How does my business, website, or brand helps them solve those problems? Offering step-by-step tutorials and real-life results. Recommending products you’ve used and trust through affiliate links. Creating a friendly, down-to-earth tone that feels supportive, not pushy. Sharing seasonal content and garden planning ideas.
Building trust through personal stories, garden photos, and honest advice.

This can be accomplished in 6 easy steps:
1. Simplified Gardening Information
2. Recommending Products That Truly Work
3. Save Customer Time and Frustration (through time-saving hacks, printable resources, etc.)
4. Build Customer Confidence (through encouraging, judgment-free community, personal stories, etc.)
5. Nurture a Community of Like-Minded Gardeners (building an online community)
6. Inspire Customer Garden Lifestyle (sharing inspiration for garden design, decor, and outdoor living, etc.)

4

You have a great choice of audience. Since more people prefer living in urban centers, learning to do proper backyard garderning for self consumption is very important. With you help many urban dwellers will save more and eat from their own produce.

A very good niche.

Well done Pauline!

Paul.

4

Thank you! I appreciate your comment!

Cheers to an awesome day!
Pauline

2

You are welcome, Paul.
You have a pleasant day.

Paul.

1

Pauline, it sounds like your people are drawn to the garden because it gives them space to breathe and reconnect. But when they start looking for help, the mix of advice, tools, and changing weather can make things feel harder than they expected.

What you’re building gives them a friendly place to learn at their own pace. Real-life results, honest product picks, and simple seasonal ideas make it easier to grow without feeling lost. It keeps their focus on enjoying the garden, not stressing over it.

Israel.

Weekly Challenge: What is Your Dream Customer?

My niche is “Helping employees who no longer love their job to learn how to make money off the internet.”

My dream customers are “disenchanted professionals; Age range: 35 - 50 years old.

Their reality:

- They have been in a corporate or formal job for several years.

- They feel burned out, bored, or trapped by routine and lack of purpose.

- They feel their income doesn’t reflect their effort or potential.

- They often spend time online searching for keywords such as “how to make money online,” “side hustles,” “digital freedom” and the like.

Their 3 core problems:

1. They lack clarity on what online business model to engage in.

2. They are unsure how to market themselves and attract clients online.

3. They struggle with uncertainty and fear of failure.

How my business helps them:

- I help them move from just “I hate my job” to “I know what I want to build” by providing them with a kind of roadmap that allows them to discover which online income path fits their strengths.

- I show them how to turn what they already have (their skillset, etc.) into something marketable that actually makes them money online and not to just dream of it.

- I help them to see that they can succeed online by inviting them to sign up to Wealthy Affiliate where they will get support from the community in all forms.

2

Hey Trodvies, a lot of people in that situation are tired of giving so much of themselves to work that no longer feels meaningful.

Searching for online options becomes a quiet way to hope for something better, but choosing a path is tough when every answer online seems to point in a different direction. The fear of picking wrong keeps many stuck where they are.

Your focus on helping them use what they already know gives their next step more shape. Pointing them toward a community where they can learn, try things, and get support makes the shift feel less risky and more doable.

Israel.

1

Beautifully said, Israel! You captured it perfectly.

That sense of being stuck between wanting change and fearing the wrong move is exactly what so many are living through.

I really believe that when people realize they can start with what they already know - and grow within a supportive community like WA - the whole journey feels lighter.
