The First Few Weeks of the NEW Wealthy Affiliate Belong to You.

We are getting very close to launching the NEW experience at Wealthy Affiliate. This is more than just an update, it is a complete "reinvent". A rethink of the old way of doing things, building an environment for the community here that will prepare you for growth in the future world of the online business.

But I want to be straight with you about something, because I'd rather say it now than have you discover it on your own.

When we launch the new platform, it is not going to be perfect. It is not going to do everything that you would ever want a tool to do. And there may even be some things that "break" under a bit of weight.

There will be things that behave strangely. Buttons that don't do quite what you expect. Edge cases nobody on our team thought to try, because our team is not nearly the size of a community like this.

Most companies would rather you didn't hear that part. We're doing the opposite, because the first few weeks after launch aren't ours. They are YOURS.

Go Break It.

Here's what I'm actually asking of you at launch.

Use it hard. Push on it. Try the thing you assume won't work. Take the path we probably didn't plan for. And when something breaks or feels off or just annoys you, tell us.

That's the ask. That's the whole thing. No sharing, no promoting, nothing else on your plate this month. Just get in there and put it through its paces.

All of your feedback is going to help us quickly evolve and improve the platform moving forward, and we anticipate the first few weeks to ones that come with a lot of constructive feedback, a lot of potential requests, and I know a lot of excitement about what you have access to.

The Cool Part, You'll Get to Watch Bugs Get Fixed...and Features Added.

Here's the part we are the most excited about.

Every week during this period, I'm going to write to you and tell you exactly what happened. What members reported. What we fixed. What we're still working on. Not a marketing email. A straight report.

I think that's going to be one of the most valuable things we do all year, and not because of the bugs. Because there's nothing that builds trust in a platform like watching your own feedback turn into a fix with your name on it. Most people have never had that experience with software they use. You're about to have it weekly.

And this also includes significant features as well. Our team is more capable than ever. We can build anything and everything, and what we choose to build is going to be driven by the community's wants and needs here at WA.

A Few Practical Things.

During the cutover you'll see a temporary page letting you know the update is in progress. It disappears once we're done.

Your websites stay online the entire time. They don't blink. And everything is fully backed up before we touch a thing.

We anticipate the move taking less than 2 hours to completely roll out the new environment. We are confident that this is going to happen next week (pending any servers exploding on our end lol).

Why This Matters More Than A Clean Launch.

I've thought about this a lot, and I genuinely believe an imperfect first few weeks with an engaged community beats a polished launch with a quiet one. This is how we are going to build moving forward, as you never really understand every single nuance of a system in a development environment (even with extensive testing).

A perfect launch tells you nothing. A launch where a few thousand people are actively hunting for problems and reporting them gets you to a genuinely great platform in a month, instead of a year of slowly discovering things one support ticket at a time.

So the messy part isn't a flaw in the plan. It IS the plan. And you're the most important part of it.

We are DAYS away now. Come in ready to build something real, and ready to tell us when we got something wrong, or where you want a feature that hasn't been included in the launch.

We spent the last 21 years building something here based on what the community demanded. That is not going to change as we move forward, and we are going to be able to do so with more efficiency, and precision than ever.
