How to Write Content Faster for Your Websites
People fear writing and I am not sure why. Not a day passes by me where someone tells me that "I am not a writer though", and send me a 500 word article telling me why they cannot write!
That is HALF a blog post!! That is the reality though, people don't view their online communication and the time they spend writing to others, as writing. However, this is what writing is and this is the basis of content production.
Your goal is to communicate with your respective audience and speak to them as you would a friend. Then through time, and as you get more familiar with writing content for your websites, you will become more efficient at it.
How efficient? I will explain a recent "writing" day, I am not sure if it is a record, but probably a record in terms of blogging content I create for my actual niche websites.
My 11,846 Word Writing Day
March 7th, 2018 was a quite a good writing day for me. I was able to write 11,846 words of content! This is on top of all of my other day to day activities.
To many, this may seem absolutely crazy and unachievable. But I achieved it, so you know that it is possible and it can be your reality.
My goal is to top this with a 15K word writing day in the next month. When you move the upper needle of production insanity, your reality becomes consistent productivity.
Remember that story about Roger Bannister, the first person that ran the 4-minute mile. He did this in 1954. Well, until that point it didn't appear achievable to anyone and now that 4 minute mile is the 'standard' for runners.
Same goes for your own goals and self expectations. If you only think you can write 100 words in a day, that will probably be your upper limit. Continue to move your needle, and watch your content production explode.
So how do you write faster for your websites? You communicate. Your belief in your ability to communicate. And you set some unrealistic goals for yourself to continue to push your writing capabilities to record levels.

Bravo, Kyle! Great post! I'm so motivated! I'm one of those people who LOVE AND LIVE writing and actually do it for a living--even more so now, implementing Wealthy Affiliate into my life! I love your wording: "...set some UNrealistic goals for yourself to continue to push your writing capabilities to record levels." Perfect! Kind of throwing a little reverse psychology our way!
Your 11,846 word writing day is unbelievably impressive! You have to be really on your game and disciplined to be able to achieve that! With that being said, I know without a doubt that you'll get to 5K--piece of cake!
You and your theories never cease to amaze me!
That's an amazing accomplishment, Kyle. I want to be like you when I grow up!
My best day - 3,000 "quality content" words - and I was patting myself on the back - until I read your post.
So, I guess this old dog needs to set the bar a little higher, now! I can't be outdone by a young ’un!
:-)

Thank you for the tip Kyle and thank you for everything you do you have taught me a lot and I am going to keep fallowing you and your tips they are very helpful and your a great person who is teaching people how to be successful and thank you for all the training you have put into this
While I don't have a daily word goal I did make a yearly goal for the number of words written. My goal for words written by December 31, 2018 is 175,000 words. That is practically a novel.
I've done it before, but it's been awhile so this will be a nice warm up for me this year.
One of the things that has helped me a lot when writing about something that I have a passion about, or something that I am interested in, is just sitting down to the computer and just getting my thoughts down on paper. I do not attempt to correct anything or check punctuation or be perfect. I just get my thoughts all down on paper FIRST. From start to finish.
THEN, I go back through and I break my paragraphs into smaller paragraphs, make some subtopics to break up my thoughts, and I will check my spelling. This is easiest when I am doing a simple post that does not require a lot of research. One that is not too terribly lengthy. The last thing that I do, is I READ IT ALOUD. That is when I can catch even more errors or see words I left out. This is a trick I learned from being in the legal field. When we write, it is very easy to leave words out or use the wrong word. When you read what you wrote aloud, it forces you to HEAR what is missing. It forces you to see what you need to correct. And if you are using the SITE CONTENT tool then you cannot lose because it is going to catch stuff as well!
And – just remember – the only way to get good at writing IS TO WRITE and keep writing. Get out of your comfort zone and just do it. Most of you are probably much better writers than you give yourself credit for. You just need to keep at it. Donna
It sounds like a good advice. I'll try it. I can see how it could work even with the blanks left for the further research.
Thank you so much!
What I like about writing Is the ability to perceive ideas and I do that by reading, Not until I learn something can I put it on paper, I like what you said about communicate to the reader, Ideas are expressed thru communication,
And in turn we deliver our continue desire to write, What you think about is what you achieve with positive thoughts are affirmations the goal is putting the word out and readable Thank you Kyle
Like you Kyle, I now find it quite easy to write a lot of content. When you communicate in a conversational tone it makes it much easier.
In the beginning I did struggle a bit but writing blogs here at WA is great practice for publishing posts on our website.
I sometimes worry about waffling too much though but I try to keep it "light" and not boring. Last thing we want is our readers nodding off.
Your training here really helped to writer articles.
Why do I say that?
That statement above is a classic example. Asking our readers a question helps to maintain their interest. I learned that here :)
I tell you what, SiteContent has helped me IMMENSELY since I began using it on a regular basis. Just today, I finished a nearly 4,000 word post which really surprised me because I didn't think I could even make it to 1,500, lol! I now have had six 1,000 plus posts in a row something I didn't think would be achievable for me. Google I've noticed is now starting to recognize me a little bit more as I've gotten more consistent with when I post as well as how long my posts are because some of my recent posts are getting indexed a little more quicker now. If I can do this, anyone here can!
I have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for the past 6 months or so. On a really good day, I would write about 12,000 words.
Now, I have slowed down a bit to focus on the design of my WA affiliate site and I write about 4,000 words per day for my other niche.
It is very doable. Also, there is a feature in Dragon where you can run an MP4 through it and it will write out your article. You can create a YouTube video, convert it to MP4, then have Dragon transcribe it so you can make it a blog post.
Is the Dragon NaturallySpeaking good for people for which English is not their native language?
Thanks,
Sonia
Dragon is available in these languages:
English.
French.
German.
Italian.
Spanish.
Dutch.
Japanese
Wow! That is amazing functionality!
I wish I could afford the software, but it's way out of my range!
Hi Nadia,
Can I use Dragon to write in English even though English is not my native tongue, will it work?
Sonia

I think I was the one who is hard in writing. But, I keep reading many posts here by you and other members as well, that somehow encourage me and "force" me to write again.
At the moment, I enjoy writing, especially a content with minimum 1,000 words as Super WA Challenge required.
I just keep reading, shaping the knowledge about a particular topic, and keep writing. The more I write, the more I get better writing each and every day.
I will never stop and no way to surrender.
I just keep running for another "4-minute mile".
Thank you for your advice, Kyle.
