Today, I want to share some important updates and insights on:

• The current state of site support — why there have been delays and what we are doing about it

Site Support — What’s Happening and What’s Coming.

I know many of you have noticed some delays with site support. I want to be fully transparent about what’s happening.

Historically, like most hosts, site support was largely reactive — fixing problems as they come up, but often not addressing the root cause. That’s changing. We are working toward a proactive support system that uses AI and automation to:

• Identify problems before they affect your site
• Provide you with tools to address common issues yourself (such as plugin conflicts or email record setups)
• Build permanent solutions to recurring problems

Much of the ticket volume is around email configurations and WordPress plugin/theme issues.
For example:

• Some email services provide setup instructions that don’t work well across all hosts.
• Many WordPress sites slow down or break due to bloated or conflicting plugins — not the hosting itself.

We are working on features that will help you pinpoint these types of issues yourself and resolve them faster.
Expect some big improvements in about 1–2 weeks.

Domains — Pricing Adjustments and the New AI Domain Search

First, the pricing update:

• .com domains are now $21.99 per year
• This includes privacy protection, email, hosting, backups, and support.

Every few years, TLD providers raise their wholesale prices, and after absorbing these costs for as long as we could, we’ve had to adjust. We don’t aim to make money on domains — our goal is simply to provide them at a fair price while covering costs.

Now for the exciting part:
