Beer With Kyle: Introducing DsgnPop Studio and Our New Logo Tool
Hey Everyone!
Today, I’ve got some really exciting news… we’ve just released a brand new platform inside Wealthy Affiliate called Designpop Studio.
The first iteration of this platform is a Logo Creator, a professional-grade tool that lets you design unlimited, high-quality logos for your websites, brands, or even side projects. It runs on the latest versions of AI at all times, meaning it’s always improving and staying current with design standards.
Before I show you how it works, let’s get into this week’s beer.
This Week’s Beer: Tuks of Hazard (White IPA)
Today’s beer is called Toques of Hazard. In Canada, a toque is what you wear on your head in winter, and in the U.S. it’s called a beanie.
This one’s been sitting in my beer fridge since Christmas...mostly because it’s 9.2% ABV (pretty strong for an IPA lol). It pours as a light white IPA, a little on the sweet side (strong beers tend to lean that way).
Not my favorite IPA so far, but definitely unique. I’ll sip it slowly while walking you through today’s update.
Introducing Designpop Studio
Here’s the exciting part, our new DesignPop Studio.
- First release: Logo Designer (live now)
- Next release: Full Image Creation Studio (coming soon)
This project wasn’t one I’d alluded to, so it’s a bit of a surprise. We released it quietly a couple days ago to test usage and smooth out bugs, and it’s now ready for you to dive into.
You’ll find DesignPop in the left-hand menu inside Wealthy Affiliate, just below WA Credits.
How It Works
Creating a logo is straightforward:
- Choose your brand. For example, I tested a brand called Ultra Magnets (an online business reviewing magnets).
- Create a new brand from scratch, or
- Select an existing Hub brand you already manage.
- Add details. AI then builds out palettes and concepts tailored to your description.
- Describe your business, niche, or vision.
- Add preferred color schemes if you have them.
- Select logo type. Personally, I like logo + text, but you can experiment.
- Text only (like Google)
- Logo only (like Nike)
- Logo with text (like Adidas)
- Set quality & background
- Medium or high-quality render (uses WA credits).
- Large size (best for shrinking down for web use).
- Choose background (transparent is best for versatility).
- Generate your logo
- AI creates several polished options.
- Regenerate for variations, or customize colors/fonts.
Why This Matters
Traditionally, logos could cost $500–$1,000 (sometimes even $50K+) and take weeks to finalize. Now, with Designpop, you can:
- Create unlimited professional logos instantly.
- Customize and refine on the fly.
- Build logos for your websites, offline businesses, or even friends.
All logos are stored in your Design Gallery so you can manage them by brand, compare options, or download the final version.
What’s Up Next...
- Image Studio - coming in the next 6-8 weeks, we are going to expand DsgnPop beyond logos . You will be able to use this platform to create ad creatives, social posts, website graphics, and more.
- Community Feedback - we want to hear from you.
As Always, I’d Love Your Feedback!
Two things I’d love for you to share in the comments below:
- Logo Designer: Have you tried it yet? What do you think?
- Image Studio: What kinds of images or tools would help you most (ads, banners, thumbnails, social graphics, etc.)?
Your feedback helps us shape the future of Designpop Studio and make it as valuable as possible.

I just made a logo. It was fun doing it. I am not sure if I want to replace the one I have already because I like that one. So I will save this new one for my next website. It really is cool. I wish it was easier to change the color of the text, though, because I did not see that option anywhere. MAC.
Few other requests to change the text colour, this is definitely something that we can integrate into the platform. You will likely see some more controls surrounding text in an upcoming update.
Kyle,
I tried the logo designer after reading the Friday post. I took my current website and had Design Pop redesign my logo. I like the logo that I came up with, and I will continue to tweak the logo. When I start my next website, I will use this tool and save some time and energy on researching a logo. Thanks for a great time-saving tool.
I create logos for fun. Even I used it and upgraded one of my logos. It took 2 attempts to make me happy. I was impressed.
Michael
Excellent Ben, glad you liked your new logo. This will definitely streamline the logo creation process for you as you move forward. :)
Wow Kyle, AI landed well in the WA environment and.....the big magnets are used here in the Netherlands for fishing in the Canals....not for fish but for expansive bikes or other metal objects! Keep on adding functions and we, the simple but very happy members here, will have just one Platform to run our online business on, thank you very much for this.
Absolutely, we are going to continue to make the experience here more feature rich and to simplify process for the community and the platform. Lots more where this came from! ;)
You are like me Kyle. When I have a craft beer more than 7% ABV, it sits in the back of my fridge for a while. I could tell by your facial expression after your sip that most of it was going down the drain. LOL
I LOVE THE LOGO DESIGNER! But I had a slight issue, though the result wasn't too bad. Let me explain and show you.
I wanted to create a logo for my new future niche website which I've already purchased the domain for, Hemp So Good. I created the first logo based on my description of my brand and made it a logo + text style. See picture HSG 1
Then I requested a customization to have the text portion of the logo to have an outline of a lighter shade of green. However, though I like it, I got a different looking logo. See picture HSG 2. Why did this happen? Maybe it's a bug?
I like the extra detail on the leaf!
However, I was looking for the text to have a lighter green outline. Similar to the black outline the text has on this AI generated image.
Yeah, the customize is taking your initial idea, and then changing it based on your suggested changes. It will produce something new, it is not editing the actual existing one. So this would be a new feature, to be able to edit the existing image, not something that is impossible, but the customize was to take your existing idea and it will modify it slightly.
Thanks for your feedback here Rob, and glad you are liking the tool overall so far!
You are welcome Kyle and I understand your explanation of how the customize currently works.

While I love the Logo designer it does need some work. I tried to generate a logo several times but it kept misspelling words. It would also generate dark fonts on a dark backgrounds and I didn't see a way to make color adjustments to the text so I could make the words pop with contrast.
I think if there is a way fro us to have more control of the various components like you can in Canva it would be an incredible in house tool.
I agree with you on more control of font brightness. That's an issue I had too when I tried getting it to make a lighter color outline of the text.
So more control on the text, what sort of controls would you hope for (in a perfect world). There is nothing that we can't do, so your feedback is always appreciated.
We just don't want to make it too complex at the same time, because sometimes if you give too much control people get confused, or they make decisions that actually make their logo design inferior.
Hi Kyle!
Sorry for the delay in response.
When I say control nothing too complex.
It would be nice if ( like in Canva) we could clickp on a color pallet to change the text color, background color and have the ability to correct spelling.
When I tested the program there were misspellings and the colors used were not what I was looking for.
Hope this helps. If not please let me know if you have additional questions.
Kyle,
I just tried out the DSGNPop Studio again and it has definitely improved since last week. It is not missspelling words today. It is also following promots better. No perfect but getting there.
Thank You!
