Thank you Social Media!

I haven't made much money since my website is a little less than 2 months old. I have made a few dollars now and I am darn proud of it!

Most of my visitors and those who give me clicks on my ads are generally from social media, twitter to be specific, although I have had a few from facebook.

Use hash-tags!

The # system seems to be my wing man for viewers. Often times I use things such as #videogames, #gamer, #comics things of the sort that are related to the topic posted. As I kept doing this people began adding me to these things called "lists" within the twitter world. Now people who are active on these lists can now see all my posts and topics. Which has given me a free ticket to traffic.

When posting anything about your website try using images related to the article. As you use these images people are more likely to pause at the tweet and possibly give you a re-tweet or like. Man do I love those re-tweets.

Follow Bundles of People!

Adding a bunch of people through the search also helps a lot, generally people will follow you back! When you click on the search engine use a # reference related to your website, for example I would use something like #gamerlife since my niche is targeting gamers. The best way to determine if someone will follow you back or if you are wasting your time is by looking at how many people they are following vs followers. If the number of followers is significantly higher you may not want to bother, but remember it doesn't hurt to try anyway!

I would highly suggest doing this for yourself if you have not already!
