I want to share something that is happening in my island of Puerto Rico. I decided to post it here in WA because I am very surprise how the events are developing around, knowing that social media is powerful and in a way is making people closer around the world.
The History
During decades corruption in many governments administrations have led the island with a huge debt to the USA. Now in 2017 we were hit by hurricane Maria, on top of that debt. There were many funds that were raised to help the island to stand up again, but the money was never there.

This week a telegram chat was filtered through the media exposing the governor of Puerto Rico with members of his cabinet conspiring to gain economical profits for them and their privilege "friends". This after the secretary of Education and the secretary of Health were arrested by the FBI for fraud charges along with other people. The chat not only express the fraudulent agenda, but also showed the governor and his close friends mocking and making grotesque comments about women, LGBTT community, obese people, and people in poor conditions after the passing of the hurricane Maria. All like they were high school jocks.
Thanks to the stupidity of exposing in a chat in the internet (uhm... the internet is not like Las Vegas) now we know what was evident since the beginning.
A whole island is demanding this jerk out of the chair, now many members of this chat and his cabinet have been fired or have quit their positions.

For me is outstanding how many people around the world is supporting us in this fiasco, with #rickyrenuncia hashtag around the social media,this being the reson why I decided to post about this in WA. I know many people from different countries are connected here, so I want to say THANK YOU. I dont know if you know about this situation, but any way THANKS WORLD for the support.
