3 x 3 Minute Morning Ritual

It takes the same amount of time to create a habit as it does to break a habit – about 30 days.

For the next 30 days set your alarm 10 minutes earlier and change you life forever (before you even get out of bed).

As soon as the alarm goes off (if it's a radio you can leave it on) slowly start to stretch your muscles. If you can gently and easily stretch and massage your limbs, stretching at the same time, your body will thank you later. This will firm up your whole body – do this for 3 minutes.

It's time to turn off the radio. It's also time to reflect on how lucky you are. Who is/are the person/people who make your life complete? How lucky are you have the health, opportunity, desire etc. to pursue your goals? Only you know what you have to be grateful for – be grateful for 3 minutes.

As your thoughts start to make themselves gently aware of the coming day. Try to focus on what you want to achieve before your head hits the pillow again. Can you zone in on 2 major accomplishments and 1 minor one that you want to get done to forward you progress through the day? Do this for 3 minutes.

You won't believe the difference in not only productivity but your life in general if you can create this new habit by incorporating this ritual into the first 10 minutes of your day.
