Finally back to work on my site!
For a few days I had trouble getting myself in the mindset to write, and I didn't know what to review. But the days off, I did a lot of research online for different programs. So, I wasn't completely slacking off... I guess sometimes taking time to put in research work is just as important than writing a new article daily!
It's just been a hard time lately... we have lost 2 dogs since August... most recently just a few weeks ago. :'( So I've been really down. At first I was making myself work on my site, but I guess because I was constantly thinking about it and not taking much of a break, I burnt out a little.
It's ok though, my goal was to finish Course 2 by October 8th when my premium is charged again, and I am about to go onto lesson 10! So I feel good about completing 2 courses in a month. At first I was like oh.. I'm gonna go hardcore and finish them ALL in a month. lol Yea, right. I guess you could, but it is a lot of work, and sometimes the inspiration for articles and reviews just isn't there.
I did open a Woo store on my page while I was not really doing a lot. As of now all I have on it is my music album. But I am looking to either create some stuff for it, or do some re-selling related to my niche.
Anyway, I'm just about a day away from being premium for a month! Lesson 10 looks pretty easy, so I should be able to get that one done by Saturday, probably before!
Oh, one question. I was going to set up a free e-mail list so I could start building it, but I joined Mail Chimp. Once I found out you have to put your address on it, and the address goes out in the emails, I stopped. That really makes me nervous. I know I probably wouldn't get stalkers, but I'm still worried about doing that! I really wish they would just take your address and keep it private! grr. P.O. boxes are kinda expensive, especially since I doubt they would send anything anyway. So I don't really know what to do.
I was wondering how other people deal with this. Do you REALLY need a list to succeed? Is it even worth the 50 or so dollars a year to get a box that will sit there empty? lol
Thing is, I live in a relatively remote area, but with map programs these days... and the Internet, you never know who is reading. lol

I haven't done the whole email thing yet, so I don't know what to tell you, but you're right, you can't be too paranoid these days. You're doing just fine, and to me, research is just as important as writing posts or anything else relative to my site.
It's cool. I am just going to keep working on my site. I've accomplished a lot in a month, and when I went premium I told myself if I want to keep it I have to actually make progress. And I did!
