Only Believe!
This morning at Cascades Park Jayne (my right hand) and I recorded my country song on video for an upcoming music showcase. I became emotional in route as I thought about the song being written over 14 years ago. It took 5 years to produce my debut CD Beyond the Skies with minimum financing and resources. I wore the dress that I was crowned as the American Image National Woman, 6 years ago after I found out I had fibroid tumors until this year February 6, 2014.

The pageant director didn't think I would get any points for my dress as it appeared more informal than a regular pageantry gown. What she didn't know, was that I purchased it with miracle money. God's favor has been fabulous throughout the years! As we wrapped up the session today, we were blessed to meet two adorable twins who told their dad they wanted to see the princess. They would not look toward the camera until I asked them to do the princess wave. One of them had the nickname KK! How is that for a divine sign from above!
It was surreal as I thought about the countless years I hid my voice in fear. I dedicated the song Believe to my dad who has been a true warrior battling bone cancer. He inspires me everyday to keep moving forward in the face of adversity. As a women's empowerment speaker, I am passionate about provoking every daughter of destiny, full of POWER who has yet to take center stage and own her magnificence! In the words of Theodore Roosevelt, "Do what you can, with what you have, right where you are!" That is exactly what we did!!!

:-) the dad said that the girls wouldn't come outside because one of their matching necklaces broke. He gave them matching crowns to get them out of the house...
