I don't know what I'm suppose to do or put on my getting started page
Are you talking about the Courses and lessons?
All you have to do is click on the green button and start to read and watch videos to learn how to have an online business and have a website.
In there, you will see the copying and pasting. I would focus on doing that before anything. You will see what I mean, when you start doing the lessons and see all the steps. It makes a HUGE difference to learn first.
Did you read everything and watch the videos...and do the tasks?If you did then you may not have to start over. If it's just to copy and paste you don't need to start again..up to you.
I always take notes to refer to, it's worth it. I had to use my notes many times when it was time to do the tasks at the end.
You can't remember everything you see in those videos so taking notes is a good idea.You can always use them later also.

I see you have started in October 2019. Everything is completely new and might be a little confusing in the beginning. Do not worry as here at Wealthy Affiliate you will find all the help you need.
Do not forget to contact your personal coach, the person through which you came to Wealthy Affiliate.
The best is always to start at the beginning. The training will take you step by step so you will create your first website. I can tell you from experience it really is exciting to see it grow.
Before you start writing anything for your website do not forget to install Grammarly, it is free and it will help you to avoid mistakes.

I can't get my privicy policy pasted and posted on initial three pages
He's not supposed to copy and paste the privacy policy to his three theme pages. It's supposed to be a brand new page named Privacy Policy.
Hi, Carl did you ever get that wireless mouse? It would be easier for you to copy and paste since you're using your tablet.

This is where highlighting, copying and pasting comes in :)
You have to highlight the whole content, copy it. Then go to your page where it will be pasted onto it.
It's hard to explain the action in words on how to highlight it. That's why I mentioned in another post if you can find someone to show you how. I had no idea years ago and when my daughter showed me I couldn't believe how easy it is. You can copy and paste anything you want anywhere it's great.
Is there someone you know who can show you, or maybe someone can comment on a way to say it on here.

If you don't highlight it, there won't be anything to paste.
I didn't know you were using a tablet.
I haven't tried it on mine but I think if you press on that page, the word 'copy' comes up. Then it's copied. You go to your website page, press on the screen there and the word 'paste' comes up.
I would 'practice' Carl. Practice on something else on your tablet first until you get the hang of it.
Let me know how you make out.
I think u would need a mouse for a table. I have never used a tablet so not sure on how to highlight.

I agree with iPhoneGirl on this one. I would also suggest making sure to set the menu you create as your primary menu.
It could also be your theme as Droseh said.
I'm new at this but I think it has something to do with your theme. I had the same problem but when I chose another theme, they appeared. I'm sure there is a way to format your current theme. Debbie
Have you gone into settings under 'Menu' and set them up that way? I added my first three to a menu I called "Main Menu", then I went under 'Menu Locations' and set it o show as the 'Header Menu'. I'm sure each theme is different, but hopefully that helps and gives you the general idea!

On your pages when your editing them below the heading where you type in your page just below that it has a blank box with slug written in it what does that mean
Don't worry about the slug. WordPress will auto populate it for you.
