Need Help with Restoring Content and Tags on New Website Design and Theme

Hi all, need some help here. Though I have just gotten my new website design, most of my content have been resetted and menus were out of place. Before the migration, I have a backup. So how do I correct the contents and tags under the new design, can anyone help? Thanks!
