Following Course 1, Lesson 6
If you have been following along, my original plan was to use multiple squeeze pages for multiple affiliates; this has flown out the window. The reasoning for this, true to the teachings on this site, I need to create a site, attract visitors, add affiliates, profit. My original plan would have looked like: build site, get rejected by affiliates, no one visits, no profit.
My new plan is to talk about all things Apple, mostly as it relates to repair. Of course I will talk about which cases I prefer, and screen protectors, and so on. Hopefully I can entice affiliates to jump on board.
I am glad I am following this course, or else I would have set my self up for failure.
Originally, I was going to use a separate host, but I am so glad I paid for premium, I love the hosting here, as it seems really fast, compared to WebHostingHub, which I use for my boss. Uploading files to the server was a breeze, and logging in to all of my various sites, is a snap. Premium is totally worth the money considering it will be a business expense, and I am getting training, and hosting to boot.
So, lets get back to the nitty gritty. I created my domain, http://appleessentials.info on GoDaddy, switched the name servers, created a site using SiteRubix, an then uploaded, my theme, and plugins. After that was done I customized the theme, and added some placeholder text, links, and menu items. I still need to theme my menu bar, and do some CSS work, but the groundwork has been laid.
It is getting late now, but I am very excited about tomorrow, as I surreptitiously get paid to work on my site, in between repairs. I am excited to start taking video of the repairs, and posting them on YouTube, then linking them to my site. I can't wait to see what is around the next corner.

Thanks for this. I must admit I thought multiple sites was the way to go. I know different now. Good luck :)
Eventually I would have multiple sites for different niches, but my idea to have one iPhone screen protector site, and one iPhone accessories site, and one iPhone repair site, was a little convoluted. That would have been to much work to build up, so now I am putting more eggs into one basket.
Good decision. For me getting one site up and running efficiently is enough. Keep up the good work!
